vin'cell was always a troublesome kid. raised by himself, he always found something to get in trouble, or doing something that brought the wrong attention. his parents were never home, neglecting him emotionally and mentally. he always had to battle himself in his mind, and that turned him to doing things that would distract those troublesome thoughts. robbing people, smoking cigarettes at a young age, partying, beating people in schools that had no business messing with him, etc. at a point, his mental issues gotten to the point that he developed heavy depression and anxiety, and the things he were doing were only furthering those things. at a point, his parents kicked him out at the age of 16. he had no where to go, so, he did what he could to survive. pick pocketing, scamming, using his body. he went couch to couch, floor to floor, and no one wanted someone like him around. all he wanted was someone to treat him like he actually mattered, and that never happened. when he was 17, someone showed him a glimpse of kindness, but that glimpse was nothing but a facade. they tried to ually assualt him and when they saw that he was fighting back, they tried to kill him. being a tiger, his instincts had taken over and the moment he came to, he was covered in blood that was not his own. bits of flesh hung from his teeth and claws, and he was looking at an unrecognizeable state of a body. he killed them, brutally. and broke down. he wasn't arrested, as this is a norm within this society of hybrids.

vin'cell was still on the streets afterwards but this time, decided to stay sleeping on the streets in fear of something like that happening again.

at the age of 18, he met a man. vin'cell was sitting against the corner of a building, knees up to his chest and shivering due to the heavy rain of a storm that struck through the city. he looked at the wet tiger in pity, and it made vin nearly immediately resent him. he hated it when people took pity in him. something like that made him react badly because pity did not come from a good place in what he experienced. this man tried months to convince vin to come with him, to a warm home and food, constantly hissing and scratching at the man. but eventually, he gave in and went with him. this mans name is rommel lynce and the man that saved his life and vin will always have rommel on a high place in his heart.

rommel also helped vin hone in on his talents. to the point that at 20 years old, he started working on having his own tattoo parlor and at 22, he finally had one. how? rommel got him into modeling between these years and despite him not liking himself much, an experience like that made him see *something* within himself. till this day, he still models, but he much prefers being in his shop and making art on others skin. he even does piercings.

vin is not a known hybrid within the companions. he rarely comes out whenver hybrids come to visit, and rommel never forces him to. vin has only had one trial and it went terribly because they expected *too much* from him. it felt forced, and he hated it. but that doesn't mean that someone could crawl into his heart and take it. just be careful, he's a man with many walls around his heart. 

i don't believe in love. it's been years since i believed in that or even heard that word come to me in a generous notion. don't try it. if you do...you might get disappointed.
