Before, in the past. Coming from an esteemed generation of entertainers, The Amatayakuls, Imani had always felt like the black sheep of the family despite being on the forefront of recognition like everyone else. She might have had pageant competitions going for her with a foot deep in the world of fashion, but with futile attempts at shaking off unspoken insecurities, namely, the feeling of only having her looks and nothing else, her mind was beyond plagued.

Years of upkeep on supposed poise and perfection for the family worked her health to the gutter, and it was only a matter of time before she’d shut herself out from the world, disappearing without a trace for several years as she’d dive into multiple sessions of therapy for the anxiety and eating disorders she’d developed. It was a sheer fall from grace, some would say, but truly only the beginning for Imani who had gone behind everything she once knew of. at some point, ready to start anew.

Now, in the present. Picking up the life of a trainee under Noir Entertainment and remaining incognito to the best of her efforts, landing the spot of Mystique’s main dancer was the game changer for she who now went by Maia. It would be a name that’d follow her as an essence of love, not just for what she would share with the rest of the world as a performer, but essentially the sort of love she would learn to have for herself. the real Imani Amatayakul, inside and out.

Since then, her, alongside other empowering females have been vital for her aspirations in life where she wants to be able to embrace the power in femininity.

During her early days as a young pageant performer, her specialty was in dance where she would work with other choreographers for her stage routines. But overtime, she had also learnt how to contribute and make steps of her own. This was mainly the forefront of her foundation with dancing where with years of practice, she'd become more concentrated in styles such as contemporary, lyrical, hip-hop, and jazz.

Currently, she is the muse as well as global ambassador for brands such as: Celine. Bottega Venetta. Bulgari, etc. Including (but not limited to) her affiliation with such, she has been able to attend various fashion events and also has experience walking on the runway.

She has a Doberman named 'Ami,' which is said to supposedly be short for the gem, 'Amethyst' or 'Aminé,' one of her favourite rappers. Rather than referring to her as a pet, Maia sees Ami as her very own (giant) baby. Ami was originally sought out as a companion to combat loneliness and any other sort of negative emotions. Important. Please try to have something in mind and read my profile before actually talking to me about roleplaying. If you'd like, feel free to send me a random starter! The more unique or out of the box, the better.

Mun's timezone is GMT +8 with a sporadic sleep schedule, so you will easily catch me on and off. I'd like to think I'm relatively chill, so don't hesitate to approach me for anything.

Writing style. I do script and para, whilst being fairly flexible with povs. Lengthwise, I try my best to adjust and mirror with whatever my writing partner is most comfortable with.

Plotting style. I prefer mostly plotting over winging, but do not mind both. My favourite genres can fluctuate from a variety of themes depending on my mood and the dynamic of characters but overall, I'm chill with most topics and I do like meshing ideas together whilst letting there be enough room for the plot to flow.

Should you be curious, however, my favourite genres tend to gravitate more towards slice of life, angst and drama. I'm capable of diving into NSFW themes as I am of age, although may only be included so long as it contributes to character development and/or the plot itself. Anything otherwise may easily burn me out.

I'm also fine with writing starters and will do so most times if I have enough of base to work with and if it makes sense for me to do it.

I would appreciate it if you do not poke me. I'm able to keep track of most, if not, all threads I've got and will most likely get to them in an adequate amount of time (rarely later than 4-5 days) because I'd genuinely want to push out quality replies, especially if my muse is on the rise. Location preferences. Honestly speaking, I tend to go and roleplay anywhere I can. I like using rooms for the most part just for the sake of keeping up with activity, walls when I'm busy, and I'm okay with PMs as well. Most plots I do are public friendly too with or without trigger warnings included, and when they aren't, I take them to PMs.
