Yoorim's life before she was turned isn't too important. Except that she got married at a young age to someone she loved deeply, but didn't know that the love she felt was a lie. Her former lover was a vampire and had compelled Yoorim to fall in love with them. She was 18 years old then and for two years was under a constant spell of being in love until they married when she was 20. When she was 22, their home had been robbed while they were home one night by common thieves; Yoorim was killed and her spouse killed the thieves shortly after. To keep the one person who could love them, even if it was by a spell, they turned Yoorim.
Yoorim was confused and scared of who she was when she learned the entire truth. Angry with her spouse and planning her own revenge, feeling robbed of a life that she'd never know of. Reluctantly, she learned everything she could under them and had them convinced she'd still love them and stay. She was 369 years old when she ran from them, trying to leave them for dead. And has been on the run since.
Many years have passed since she's seen her former spouse, and Yoorim has lived in many cities, experiences many people, and lived many lives. A current gang member and drug dealer, Myshaven is her home away from the danger and chaos. The gangs are associated in other towns, where Yoorim will visit them when making deliveries or having meetings, where they call her the name Aisha and know she's not one to be messed with. Because she's the dealer of many gangs, she has many connections and along with that, happens to know a lot of things she shouldn't. Everyone is usually careful to not threaten her or harm her if they don't want repercautions.
