❛❛ born as a daughter into the sangonomiya family made kokomi the subject of becoming the next heir to run the sangonomiya fishing business. one would suggest that the life she was brought into was lavish and luxurious. a home that was both an inn and an abode. the business was passed down through many generations of culture and adaptation. the family itself was renowned and deemed as an upper class from its years of hard work and business communications. it was a place that was set to make kokomi enjoy her life in bliss- though, that ideology was far from what she experienced over the years of growing up in the said estate. 

neither did she have the warmth of a familial figure to comfort her throughout her childhood, nor did she ever felt secure in a "home" that did not even feel like a source of comfort at all. over the course of years, kokomi would find herself with elemental abilities that soon ed her into the embrace of her father. she was thrilled! her parents were finally giving her the attention she so very much craved from both of them ever since her younghood. though, she would soon come to learn that such abilities were the breed of a greedy family that wanted the success of an eternal business through means of exploiting their own daughter's skills. 

year after year did she only come to realise that her family started treating her nicely solely after her abilities came to light. this revelation broke kokomi to the point in which she could no longer find solace in anything. however, later on, did she come to focus more on her surroundings. surroundings such as flowers that encompassed the family estate and how easily they were able to distract and flicker a newfound passion in the girl. thus, with a determined smile, kokomi decided to dedicate herself to the studies of nature and flowers which would eventually lead to her confidence in standing up for herself and leaving her family to pursue a new desire that frequently brought a smile to her face。

∿ having elemental abilities was both a downside and a blessing for kokomi to have. for one, her father figured that using her abilities to garner more attention to his business and the sangonomiya name would work tremendously in his favour- and that it did. however kokomi, too blindsided by her will to please her father, did not realise it until much later in her teenagehood. with that, she only ever started using her elemental abilities to care for the untreated in both individuals and plants/flowers。

∿ kokomi enjoys the rainy and stormy days that she usually spends time outside picking herbs and scraps as well as observing the general nature of her surroundings。

∿ she always wears a sling bag consisting of things ranging from bottles of ointments to crumpled-up wrappers and a pair of pruning shears. you can find the most random of things in that mess of a bag。

∿ coming from a background rich with culture, history, and money; kokomi never had to worry about indulging in a luxurious life. that was until she decided to leave home, live by herself, and understand the struggle of being both broke and lonely from the lack of care from her family. though, whenever she has the chance, kokomi would usually buy sango pearls from nearby stalls— although incredibly pricey, the beauty of the pearls was what captured kokomi's attention and desire to keep working hard to be able to afford such a speciality。

∿ likes: scented candles, the sound of rain, dendrobium (though all flowers are essentially her favourite), long hugs, poetry, light novels, long walks, flower printing。

∿ dislikes: sleeping for long hours, alcohol, snakes, seafood。
