bg: with his dad working in the police force it was rather expected of him to follow the same path. his parents did not pressure him, allowed him to do whatever he wanted. however he admired his father and his job and wanted to follow in his steps. he entered the academy in the big city and graduated at the top of his class. despite the opportunity of working in one of the big police stations of the city, hyunjin chose to return to his little town and work alongside his father. he's content with his job for now but does dream of climbing up in ranks and transferring to bigger stations into the city after gaining a couple years of experience.

2. a troublemaker that hyunjin always ends dragging to the station. it;s like they're causing trouble just to catch jin's attention.
3. an ex lover jin had before leaving to the academy. they broke up because of his departure but they're still in good terms.
