I want to thank you for taking the time to look over my character’s profile. There a few things that I want to note that is important to understand my character’s personality and background. First, I want to mention that most of my character’s background has quite a bit of trigger warnings attached to it that include: suici*e attempt, drug use, s.a, and physical abuse. If you are uncomfortable by these topics, please do not read further. Such topics are handled with gentle care and are not intended to be romanticized. If you find an issue with this, please private message me as soon as possible. Secondly, please don’t be afraid or hesitant to approach my character. Although my character’s personality is built on the foundation of stubbornness and stoic and her behaviors (within plots, ic chatrooms, etc.) reflect that; don’t be afraid to approach my character and take time in getting to know my character throughout. Start with the end

“…perhaps taking a break from work, school and social media can help ease up those stressors we have been talking about. In fact, there’s a small town called Dandelion, I think it would do you some good.” Better said than done. A stubborn girl, with a stubborn attitude and a stubborn way of living, Kim Saeeun was and is a city girl by heart. The sounds of the sirens passing through alleyways at night, the sounds of drunk, hearty laughter filling the streets below. The musical tunes of stores blasting their music to lure you into their businesses. The glittery lights that continuously flashed against your living room windows – felt like home to her. In fact, saeeun was born within the confines of the city, her parent living in the residential areas that lies within city limits.

Such a busy and bustling life kept saeeun on her feet, and as such, she documented every moment of it, taking photos and videos any chance, she could; editing them and uploading, only to capture a curious audience. Saeeun grew in such a way that she had become quite the attraction to those who found her artistic or attractive. Her head grew big, and thought she was untouchable, when in fact, she wasn’t. Controversies ensued, taking a toll on her mental health. Physically, she was pristine, elegant, and gorgeous. Mentally, she was breaking, snapping; it could only take just one instance that could push her over the edge. That was when she was recommended to a therapist, attending daily, if not, weekly. “…In fact, there’s a small town called Dandelion…” Were the words that piqued her interest. “…I think it would do you some good…” As she had stepped off the train into a world unfamiliar.

Then start with her past

SAEEUN WAS BORN INTO A LOVING HOME WITH TWO LOVING PARENTS. HER MOTHER, DAEUN AND HER FATHER, SEOJUN WERE WORKING PARENTS WORKING WITHIN THE SAME SCHOOL DISTRICT. DAEUN WORKED AS A TEACHER AND SEOJUN WORKED AS THE ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL THAT EVERYONE KNEW AND ADORED. MOST PEOPLE COULD SAY THAT SAEEUN’S STUBBORNNESS CAME FROM HER MOTHER, THE ABILITY TO BE ABLE TO ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING AND SEE TO IT TOWARDS THE END WAS THE INTENSE DETERMINATION SHE INHERITED FROM HER MOTHER. AS FOR SAEEUN’S STOICNESS, SHE INHERITED THAT FROM HER FATHER. STRONG, ABLE-BODIED, CONFIDENT AND OUTSPOKE, SHE LEARNED THAT FROM HIM AFTER WATCHING HIM SPEAK AT ASSEMBLIES AFTER SCHOOL OR DURING MEETINGS WHEN SHE SAT OUTSIDE OF HIS OFFICE.

AT HOME, THE THREE WERE A SMALL, TIGHT-KNIT FAMILY. WATCHING MOVIES TOGETHER AS A PAST TIME, GOING ON A WALK IN THE PARK, EVEN SPENDING TIME WITH SAEEUN AS A TODDLER TOGETHER WAS PROBABLY THE MOST TREASURED MEMORY SHE HAD OF HER PARENTS, ESPECIALLY HER FATHER.

TWO YEARS LATER, SAEEUN WAS 12 YEARS OLD, AND SHE HAD ARRIVED HOME LATE AFTER LEAVING A PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB SHE HAD JOINED JUST SEVERAL MONTHS PRIOR. THE HOUSE WAS COLD, DAMP EVEN. THE ONLY LIGHT THAT WAS ONE WAS IN THE KITCHEN, AND THE CLOSER SHE GOT, THE MORE SHE COULD HEAR SOBS COMING FROM THE ROOM BEFORE HER. A COLD CHILL RAN DOWN HER SPINE, AND INSTANTLY, SHE KNEW SOMETHING WAS NOT RIGHT. AS SOON AS SHE ENTERED THE KITCHEN COMPLETELY, SHE COULD REMEMBER SEEING TWO POLICE OFFICERS, WITH THEIR HATS AGAINST THEIR SIDE, LOOKING DOWN APOLOGETICALLY AS HER MOTHER CONTINUED TO CRY AND SOB, HER SHOULDERS SHAKING VIOLENTLY.

SAEEUN DIDN’T SPEAK A WORD, AND SHE COULDN’T MOVE FOR A GOOD WHILE UNTIL SHE TOOK A STEP BACK AND HAD ACCIDENTLY BUMPED INTO THE DOORFRAME. DAEUN QUICKLY SHOT UP AND GLANCED OVER AT SAEEUN WITH PUFFY RED EYES, UNABLE TO SPEAK FOR A MOMENT. SAEEUN HAD NEVER SEEN HER MOTHER SO DISTRAUGHT BEFORE. NO, INFACT SHE LOOKED DIFFERENT, NOT LIKE HER MOTHER AT ALL. THE ONLY THING SAEEUN COULD REMEMBER FROM THAT POINT ON, WAS HER MOTHER’S LIPS SAYING THAT HER FATHER HAD BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT, AND HE WOULDN’T BE COMING HOME ANYMORE.

SEOJUN, SAEEUN’S BELOVED FATHER, HAD BEEN KILLED IN A ROBBERY AND car-HIJACK.

AT THE TURNING POINT, SAEEUN COULDN’T REMEMBER MUCH AFTER THAT. SHE COULD REMEMBER ATTENDING HER FATHER’S FUNERAL, AND ATTENDED A FEW COURT SESSIONS, BUT THAT’S THE MOST SHE COULD REMEMBER. NOT HAVING HER FATHER AROUND TOOK THE BIGGEST TOLL ON HER, IF NOT, HER MOTHER MORESO. NOW, IT WAS SILENT AT DINNER TIME, HER MOTHER OFTEN SPENDING MOST OF HER TIME WITHIN HER BEDROOM, CRYING, OR OUT IN THE GARDEN, LOSING HERSELF IN THE MEMORY OF HER HUSBAND. SAEEUN BUSIED HERSELF WITH SCHOOL AND ATTENDED HER PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB LONGER THAN SHE SHOULD’VE. ANYTIME SHE LEFT TO GO HOME, HER MOTHER WAS THE FIRST TO BE IN BED, ASLEEP. DINNER LEFT ON THE TABLE WITH A SMALL NOTE ON HOW TO HEAT UP HER FOOD, SIGNED WITH HER MOTHER’S NAME AND A HEART.

IT WAS 5-6 YEARS LIKE THIS. SILENT MEALTIME, AND SPENDING TIME SEPARATELY AND ALONE. SAEEUN GREW DEPRESSED AND SADDENED. THERE WERE ATTEMPTS TO TAKE HER OWN LIFE BECAUSE OF HOW DETACHED HER MOTHER HAD BECOME THAT SHE NO LONGER FELT CONNECTED TO HER OWN FLESH AND BLOOD. SAEEUN FELT ALONE AND SCARED. IN PAIN OF NOT HAVING A FATHER ANYMORE AND IN MORE PAIN OF HOW SHE WAS LOSING HER MOTHER, TOO. HOWEVER, SAEEUN WAS SURROUNDED BY WONDERFUL FRIENDS, AND BY CONFIDING IN THEM IN THE TIME OF GREAT NEED, THEY WERE ABLE TO HELP HER GET THE HELP THAT SHE NEEDED. SAEEUN STARTED TO ATTEND REGULAR THERAPY EVERY WEEK, MAKING PROGRESS BY TAKING A FEW STEPS FORWARD, AND SOMETIMES TAKING A FEW STEPS BACKWARDS, BUT THINGS WERE STARTING TO LIGHT UP THE WAY FOR HER.

IN THE AGE OF SOCIAL MEDIA, SAEEUN BECAME OBSESSED WITH THE ABILITY TO CREATE ANYTHING SHE WISHED, TO UPLOAD ONLINE ONLY TO REACH A SMALL AUDIENCE WHO THOUGHT JUST LIKE HER, OR WHO WERE INTERESTED IN THE THINGS THAT SHE LIKED TO DO. SAEEUN WAS A FAST LEARNER, AND EVENTUALLY, SHE WAS ABLE TO CREATE A SCHEDULE FOR HERSELF IN ORDER TO UPLOAD HER SOCIAL MEDIAS AND VLOGGING CHANNEL ON A REGULAR BASIS, TRAVELING PLACE TO PLACE WITHIN THE CITY ANY CHANCE SHE COULD GET, ALL THE WHILE ATTENDING SCHOOL. BY THE TIME SHE GRADUATED, SHE WAS ABLE TO WORK FULL TIME ON HER WON, OFTEN GIVING HER MOTHER A SMALL PORTION OF HER PAYCHECK TO TAKE CARE OF HERSELF AS WELL.

NOW, SAEEUN WAS ABLE TO TRAVEL TO PLACES SHE COULD ONLY DREAM OF. STAYING IN HOTELS FOR FREE, RECEIVING PR ITEMS FOR FREE AS WELL AS MEETING OTHER CONTENT CREATORS LIKE HER THAT SHE LOOKED UP TO. SAEEUN HAS GONE THROUGH FRIENDS, LOST SOME AND GAIN SOME ALONG THE WAY. SHE WAS ALSO IN A RELATIONSHIP FOR 3 TO 4 YEARS BEFORE BECOMING ENGAGED, ONLY TO CALL OFF THE ENGAGEMENT SEVERAL MONTHS LATER DUE TO HER RISKY AND HURTFUL BEHAVIOR, SOMETHING THAT SHE REGRETS ENTIRELY AND WHOLEHEARTEDLY. SUCH THINGS CAUSING CONTROVERSY TOWARDS HER ONLINE LIFE, IN WHICH SHE WAS ATTACKED BY THE ONLINE COMMUNITY FOR A GOOD WHILE. SUCH ACTS CAUSHED HER MENTAL HEALTH TO DETERIORATE, AND THUS, SHE DECIDED TO CHECK IN WITH HER THERAPIST, WHO THEN RECOMMENDED HER TO BREATHE IN THE FRESH AIR AND TRY SOMETHING NEW FOR A CHANGE. A CHALLENGE IN WHICH SAEEUN DECIDED TO TAKE ON, HOPING TO CONQUER AND TAKE OVER THE SMALL TOWN, DANDELION.

This is how she is

Saeeun has a heart of passion, fiery and hot like hell. She is also quite stubborn like her mother and stoic like her father. There seems to be a tendency to be suspicious of everyone, but that’s mostly because of the way she was cheated or swindled to in the early years of being a content creator. Anytime someone promises her something, she’s quick to investigate the terms and conditions behind that statement. Saeeun also doesn’t smile a lot, and that was because there wasn’t much to smile about in life growing up – she did lose her father after all. Whenever she poses for pictures, her expression tends to be described as ethereal and otherworldly, a skill she learned to use after watching the greats like Vita Mir, or Chloe Lecareux. She never liked the concept of being fake off camera and tends to be true to herself on camera. Saeeun also has a brash way of expressing her dislike for this, but anything she does she interest in or love, she falls deeply in love with – and she falls hard.
