The story so far...

[Name] Choi Yeonjun
[Age] 23
[Rank] Alpha
[Status] Single
[Scent] Petrichor & Oakmoss
[Background] Yeonjun's father had been a cop all his life, so Yeonjun grew up in the force. His mother died when he was just a baby, so all he ever had was his father and the other officer's his father worked closely with. Yeonjun learned from a very early age to live and breathe law enforcement, however his father was not as honorable as his impeccable record might indicate. He was a drunk, and a mean one at that. He took what he wanted from anyone, even Yeonjun himself, and the rest of the force made sure that any evidence of wrong doing simply disappeared. Everyone knew not to speak out against Police Chief Junho, the ones who didn't get the message generally ended up with missing persons reports and cold cases that would never be solved. For many years Yeonjun feared his father, but when he became a teenager and he experienced his first rut that fear turned to pity and then disgust. Yeonjun presented as an alpha, and his father was only a beta, a very insecure and cruel one at that. His death was a simple one to arrange, Junho had made a lot of enemies in his time, abusing his power and the people he was meant to protect. A lot of people wanted him dead, and Yeonjun was only too happy to help. When the news came one night that his father had been killed on the job he solemnly arranged the funeral and promptly took his father's place as police chief. Despite his young age he was a far better cop than his father had ever been, and he rose through the ranks immediately. He was naturally charismatic, competent, and he was an alpha. He was the leader that the police force desperately needed with rising tensions between Fenrir's Blood and the rebel pack, and with the humans, the force needed someone who would handle the pressure. What most people didn't know at first, was that Yeonjun was every bit as crooked as his father had been, he just hid it better and did a better job.
[Personality] When first meeting him Yeonjun is very bright, charming, and kind. He's the type to offer to help carrying heavy things, walk old ladies across the street, or accompany lone omegas to their destination to make sure they arrived safely. He's a perfect gentleman most of the time, but beneath that warm exterior is a cold and calculated monster. Unlike most criminals Yeonjun has no mental defect to fall back on. Yes, his father was an abusive drunk, and perhaps that defense could save him in court and in the eyes of the public, but it's no excuse when Yeonjun is well aware of the difference between right and wrong. He knows that kidnapping and forcing himself on those weaker than him is wrong, he is well aware that torturing for information is wrong, he knows that cold-blooded murder is wrong. He does it because he enjoys it, in full awareness that his actions are cruel and causing pain. He's never impulsive, he's meticulous, he plans things out to the smallest details. It's these traits that made him such a good leader and a good police chief. If anyone suspects that Yeonjun isn't the sweet alpha he pretends to be, they ignore it for their own safety.
[Occupation] Cop (Police Chief)
