where it all began (tw: death and violence)
Once there was a beautiful woman who grew up as an orphan, adopted by the Black family to serve as their maid. Her Asian feature gives her the charm and beauty which her other coworkers are a bit jealous by it. Her name was Hannah Kim, she was the most trusted handmaiden of Margaret Black as well as one of the most trustworthy persons in their family. Despite being beautiful and charismatic, Hannah is unable to speak but very well-verse with working around the manor.
However, one night, Hannah was tasked to serve drinks for Sir Hugh Black. She served him the alcohols he wanted before going out of his room, but was called again by Sir Black and asked for her to have drinks with him which surprises Hannah and accepted his offer.
Few months later, Hannah gave birth to another beautiful baby. She named the beautiful child as 'Taeyeon', the Black family loosened some works for her as she decided to raise her child. Hannah taught Taeyeon to be courteous all the time and should follow simple rules as she grew up to be a beautiful young girl. Unlike her mother, Taeyeon can speak loud and clear, she also has an amazing voice which Margaret Black is very fond of hearing every time they meet each other.
Everything went to spiral when Hannah was murdered by a gardener who is secretly obsessed of her, he pushed her to the stairs and broke her neck, her eyes opened and Taeyeon witnessed all of it. She was 12 at the time when the murder had happened. She happened to have a scissor with her, the gardener saw her child and asked for forgiveness but all he knew was he was stabbed in the eye by Taeyeon with scissor as she pounced on him and kept stabbing his head with a scissor. Then someone reported to the authorities and Taeyeon is in custody because of what she did.
However, Sir Hugh Black redeemed her from the authorities and bribed some policemen to cover up what happened. He was not impressed by the girl's actions towards the gardener who killed her mother, he concluded that Taeyeon indeed has a personality of her mother even though her mother was a unable to speak, she let her actions took over her without thinking.
Taeyeon was then educated by a homeschool teacher Sir Hugh Black prepared for her. She learned quickly of the manners and ettiquettes on being a maid, but Taeyeon chose to be a butler which Sir Black let her be with it without all the care for the world. However, he gave her one condition, never to step out of the manor or she will be stripped of her priviledges, then she accepted it.
Throughout her life, she became Tudor Manor's butler for the rest of my life, curious of what outside world looks like, but she cannot leave, she has no one to call from outside...

Taeyeon is courteous and kind, she's willing to help anyone around the manor, she wears full butler outfit and her hair short, looking like a teenage boy but she's already in her 30s. No one knows if she's a girl as she avoided talking much unless someone wants to engage a conversation with her.
