choi serim is comes from a family with loving parents and older sister who supports her no matter what career is as long it's not anything illegal. she started out as a child actress in supporting roles since she didn't like being part of the main role just to ease the pressure until she reached middle school where she ended up disappearing quietly from the screens to focus on her studies. one day, her older sister seyoung encouraged serim to audition in lotus entertainment just to give try it before the latter accepted the offer instantly. her parents are happy for their youngest daughter as long as she works hard and find herself a significant other (no matter what gender) so she doesn't end up being single for the rest of her life.

serim realized being a trainee isn't her calling after she had an asthma attack. The doctor told her if she continues to risk her lungs, then it will affect her health. she had no choice, but to step down from being trainee. now, she is working at the company as one of their interns.
