Description
jung wheein was born in 1880 to a family of humans in the higher middle-class. she was their only daughter. she had always been a very curious woman and would often be seen walking around the streets holding books as her parents had paid for her to have a private tutor even if it wasn’t that common for women to learn to read and write at that time. she admired women who had important roles and was jealous of men who were able to attend universities.
when she was in her 20’s, in the 1900’s, her parents passed away in a house fire. wheein had time to escape the fire, but it wasn’t without issues as she had been gravely affected by it and had trouble breathing. she was brought to the nearby hospital, but at the time, science and healthcare wasn’t as advanced and the doctors weren’t if she would survive due to her critical condition. one of the doctors working that night had a secret - that he was a vampire. he decided to take it upon himself to save wheein when he was alone in the room with her and brought her under his wing for a few weeks until she could control himself. wheein was a bit angry at the man as she had now lost everyone in her life and this so called “gift” that he pretended to have given her meant that she was now all alone. she was also mad because she had always wanted a family of her own and she now couldn’t have babies because her body was now ‘dead’ so to speak. she realized that she would forever be stuck in her 28 years old body, so she had to figure out a way to make people less suspicious of her. she also feared the worst at first thinking that she wouldn’t be able to control herself and so, she began traveling and filled her time with other activities - such as drawing, reading and writing. along her travels, she met many amazing artists and singers. she would spend her time at bars and cafés, enjoying the jazz music and voices filling the room and the void in her heart.
in the most recent years, wheein settled into small towns and made promises to some people working in local blood banks to receive blood bags in exchange for protecting the cities. she didn’t want to hurt anyone who didn’t deserve it and still, to this day, gets nervous when she drinks directly from humans as she is scared to get out of control because of her blood lust. she also refuses to drink from animals.
all and all, wheein is a very calm, charming, curious, nurturing and protective woman. she does have her flaws and althoughs she wishes to have a deep relationship of her own, she would put others’ needs ahead of her own ones. being here makes her a bit less nervous though as there are no humans that she could hurt. her passions still include drawing and writing. she has a few published novels under a pseudonym and she used to give private drawing classes. wheein was able to finally attend university in the second half of the 1990’s.
she is currently single and although she cannot have babies of her own, she is happy to help those around her and protect them as if they were her own. she wishes to meet many more people here and form bonds of friendship and perhaps more with a special person if she happens to meet them here.
