Brief background: He grew up in a rich family. They wanted him to become a doctor or lawyer but he didn't want to, and he didn't even really want to live where his family was. They gave him everything he wanted with the condition he become successful in one of the two fields they'd chosen, and by the time he was old enough to move out he told them he changed his mind and he left the country, attending university and taking up a role as a student teacher to help him with his studies as well as with getting by financially. Upon graduation, he was lucky to receive a full time teaching role. He was struggling to find someone who caught his interest and grew lonely, which is why he decided to apply to be on the show.
