growing up in the suburbs of Osaka and being born to Japanese father & Korean mother, she has always wanted to become an idol too after watching the EXILE, the popular boy band in Japan. At the age of six, just before elementary school years begun, her father uprooted the whole family to move to Seoul just because her mother missed home. At the age of 14, she auditioned for EXPG where positions of trainees were open to public and she was accepted in on bias of her vocals and subpar dancing. 2 years later, she left to return home after her parents pulled her out to move her closer to where they were now and instead encouraged her to auditioned for Lotus which was more convenient.
