His parents were murdered by a vampire who had lost their sanity due to their hunger. He was young when it happened and thankfully didn't remember the horrible traumatic event. He was rescued by another vampire who was tasked by his clan to take care of the rampage vampire. Feeling responsible for the boy losing his parents, he took him in and raised him as his own son. 

But his father was wary and protective of raising a human boy near his vampire members, so he lived out in nowhere, and home-schooled the youngling there. Hyungwon filled his time exploring the nature surrounding his home or curled up by the window, reading through many books. 

He ventured into the big city when he became an adult and ready to leave home. It was overwhelming with all the people and plenty of experiences he had yet to see. Hyungwon found his favourite place in the city, the library and applied to work there as a librarian. 

AT THE AGE OF 24, hYUNGWON BEGAN TO GET SLEEPY AND TIRED THROUGHOUT THE DAYS SUDDENLY. sOMETIMES HE WOULD EVEN FALL ASLEEP WHILE DOING TASKS, FOR A FEW MINUTES AND EVEN FOR AN HOUR. oNCE HIS DAD HEARD ABOUT IT, HE BECAME MORE PROTECTIVE OF HIS SON, AND GAVE HIM CHARMS TO PROTECT HIM FROM DANGEROUS VAMPIRES. 

hYUNGWON IS BAD AND AWKWARD WITH SOCIALIZING, AND Secretly likes to admire vampire things; you could say he is a vampire fanboy.
