FOR PLOTTING. Please pm me if you're interested in plotting with me. You don't need to do brackets because I don't really write in personal PMs (I use group PMs for threads), but you can if that is your preference. Also, I honestly don't like plotting a lot so please approach me with something in mind (even if it's totally random) that we can work with. It doesn't have to pertain to my muse and can just be something you want to write here in the rp, but do try to keep my muse in mind before suggesting anything plot-wise.

TIME ZONE & PACE. My time zone is GMT-7 and I'm generally slow to reply most of the time. I am just getting back into the swing of RP after being away for a while, so I may be even slower. Do not rp with me if that will be a problem. Also, on the off chance that I respond in like an hour ( because that does happen sometimes ), don't feel pressured to respond as fast. I might just be inspired at that time.

OOC AGE & MATURE THREADS. Mun and muse are both of age ( 25+ ) and I am open to NSFW threads for my muse as long as they are not in a closed relationship and my muse has that kind of chemistry with the other muse in question.

WRITING STYLE. I primarily do para to multipara in 1st person for self-paras and 3rd person for threads with other people. I can do novella when prompted, but prefer not to because of how busy I am normally. I can also do script ( in 3rd person ), but I'm not used to it anymore.

GENRE LIMITS. TThe main thing I won't really do is angst ( not really into it ), but I also prefer not to do pre-plotted romantic relationships unless they are not long-term and not official. Pre-plotted romantic relationships that are just for the sake of the plot or plot-relevant are fine with me. Kind of not into crack, but it really depends on my mood.

Chapter I
  ○ ○ ○   Who He Was
TW/CW: Mentions of death and dying, character death, characters being sold.
He was an orphan synth, originally created to study human-like creatures during their expedition in China. He was later sold to a company of corrupt Irideszan scientists based there but they had factories and facilities all over the globe. Eden didn't know why they started this project, but he was apart of a project called "P0943-C15" — where the corrupt Irideszan scientists (later dubbed "witches") were attempting to create and study a new breed of humans for their own nefarious purposes — and he was named "G-07" or Zero Seven at the time.

These witch scientists were eventually caught by a team of Judges (a vigilante-type team of witch-hunting Bonded Humans) who shut down their facility through brute force. It was violent and a lot of people were killed off, even the children they were raising with Zero Seven, but he was among the group of four who were thankfully spared by one Judge who didn't have the heart to immediately kill them based on a gut feeling and seeing how young they were. Instead, that Judge bought them some time and decided to take them in for questioning and examination before "tying up the loose ends." This proved to be the best decision made at the time after what the team discovered.

In the end, only 4 children including Zero Seven were able to make it out alive because of this. The Judge did as they said and studied the effects of the witch scientists' experimentation on the kids and found out each child was made to bond with an Irideszan and was supposed to be part of a protective squadron called the HSU (the "Human Suppression Unit") if humans every turned out to be enemies of the Irideszan race. They were infused with runes that allow them to essentially act as bioweapons and explode via detonation for any given reason the witches had. They were to carry out missions for these corrupted Irideszans as a safety measure and countermeasure in instances where humans would cause them harm.

The runes that they were infused with became a part of them and the Judge couldn't remove them without killing the children. Because of this, the children were placed under protective care by the Judge who saved them until they could consult their higher-ups and figure out where to place the kids. The Judge decided holding them captive wasn't fair, however, so they let them go and told them to never speak of their origins. The oldest child of the group was instructed to care for the rest of them and smuggle them on a ship headed to Japan and meet up with another Judge that was going to show them where to go from there. Long story short, the children ended up on the wrong ship and found themselves in North America and specifically Blackvale by a group called the Protectorate, though this ended up being a blessing because the Judge in Japan was going to betray them.

If not for the fact that the Judge in China who decided to show them mercy practically on a whim, Zero Seven — now named "Eden" — wouldn't be alive today. He sees this time in his life as bittersweet because on one hand, he's very thankful to have escaped and be freed from bad people, but he lost a lot of his "family" in the process on the other hand. Fortunately for him, though, he gained a new one.
 

Chapter II

  ○ ○ ○   Who He Is
Some time during the wars leading up to the Great Depression, Zero Seven met a friend by the name of "Eden" whom he later assumed the role of. Eden was from a family of Thai immigrants and got drafted into the war. Just before he died, he made Zero Seven promise him that he would make sure his wife was safe and protected. And that his kids would be taken care of too. He didn't care what happened to his body and didn't care about anything else. He just wanted his family to be okay. This ended up striking a cord in Zero Seven, and from that moment on, he's assumed Eden's identity. That was almost 78 years ago now.

He doesn't know who he was before anymore since he absorbed the remnants of "Eden" those 78 years ago. He doesn't much care for who he was before either. He's spent so long in his dead friend's form that he can't return to his own now that he's essentially become them, but glimpses of his past do surface from time to time. Those easily get overshadowed by the memories he's made as Eden, though. And he assumed the role of a husband and father to twins for the wife of his friend who passed and now he lives happily with them... or as happily as one can given the situation.

✶ ⁞   Shapeshifting. The ability to change one's appearance.
  • Has no “original form” and is only able to take on the form of whatever is native to specific environments. This may cause him to change forms spontaneously or be locked in a specific form until he is out of the environment. (i.e. if he is underwater, he will turn into a sea lifeform and be limited to them).
  • Requires genetic source material in order to shift to another organic lifeform, meaning he’ll have to absorb or consume one in order to shift into it.
  • Can only shift into organic lifeforms (namely people and animals) that he's seen alive. If he tries to shift into a corpse, he will stay a corpse and be dead. The only exception to this is if he absorbs/consumes a being he saw alive.
  • He retains the characteristics of whatever he consumes/absorbs when shifting into it, but only replicates it exactly how he knew it and last saw it, meaning he will take on his subject’s voice, personality, habits, etc. as he knew them to be. he will also take on any wounds and ailments the subject had when he last saw it.
  • He cannot change the genetic coding of whatever he absorbs/consumes, though he will age as he stays in a form for extended periods of time (i.e. if it's been 5 years, he'll be 5 years older)
