17 years ago Keroki’s world fell apart. The four year old mermaid princesses father was killed and Atlantis fell to ruin. Her mother told her to find somewhere safe and soon after her mother became a sea witch. Keroki fled and used her bracelet to pretend to be a human. She managed to stay aboard a piece of driftwood until it washed ashore at the cove. Believing her to be a stowaway on a recently sunk French ship, the cove orphanage took her in. She learned the language of the area and has never really left the surrounding waters of the cove, and has been able to live happily with most believing her to be human

 

Naturally, Roki is almost completely white with white hair, white skin, white eyes, and a white tail, the only hint of any other colour being some iridescence in the fins of her tail. Because of this Roki uses her illusions constantly to disguise her appearance to look more human.
Because of her completely white appearance the rare times anyone has seen her mermaid appearance she's been referred to as the snow mermaid or the moon mermaid.
