chaewon has always been a loner since she was a small kitten. with parents who abandoned her because she was adopted, never knowing who her real parents are. apparently, her foster parents wanted to keep her as a hybrid slave. after all hybrids were seen as a 'tool' for easy labor. chaewon, even though tiny, she was never one to take anything negatively from anyone. upon seeing how her 'parents' started treating her and talking behind her back, the girl had enough! at the age of 18, she could legally file for emancipation, leaving their house and never looking back.
of course it was difficult, such a trying time nonetheless, the female came across some helpful beings along the way in her universe, thankfully, they didn't treat her negatively, she started working at a young age, saving up and attenting college to study veterinarian. she wishes to take care of animals one day.
without meaning to, the girl met a handsome human along the way and she was blessed to find out he wasn't like the other humans she encountered back with her foster parents. he's quite similar to the few she met when fending for herself and working hard. his name is kim mingyu and what started off as friendship, led to love and meshed into something far more serious. she's owned by this young man and never before did she ever think she would be this lucky to have someone as supportive and amazing by her side such as him.

kim mingyu, there are so many words i wish to say to you — nothing can express just how truly thankful I am for you being in my life. Coming into my life when you did. You make me into a better person, you've shown me what love really is... shown me that not all humans are bad.
