jennie was born on january sixteenth, nineteen-ninety-nine and raised by her single mother, a busy interior designer who made more than enough to give jennie everything she could ask for. jennie learned earlier in life how to be independent and ask for what she needed to thrive. she shares a deep bond with her mother that's more akin to friendship than mother-daughter. the two share a love for all things beautiful and rare and spend their time shopping and having fun. 

aside from child support and tuition, jennie doesn't have a relationship with her father. she's deluded herself into believe she doesn't care about where or who he is, but she can't help herself from keeping an open ear at every mention of him: this mysterious, beautiful doctor who had a heated affair with her mother. she only hears from him through his lawyer who contacts her and her mother when he has a gift for jennie: her first car, her tuition, the house he bought in her name outside of campus so that she wouldn't have to worry about rent. she didn't know him, but her heart lingered on his crumbs of monetary affection, in gratitude if nothing more. 

with a mother who could buy her anything and the fat child support check that her father wrote every month, jennie has always had an expensive taste for quiet luxury and quality pieces. she was never one to show off and brag, but she loved to be embraced with nice and pretty things. however, money had its limits and couldn't buy everything jennie wanted.

writing preferences: third pov para with a good mix of light-heartedness and angst. size doesn't matter, i'm happy with a reply as long as i'm able to write a satisfactory reply back! all in all, less is more.

i enjoy winging starters and playing threads by ear while discussing things ooc. please expect lots of pms from me asking if certain details are okay as i write your reply over the course of multiple days.

genre preferences: light-hearted and mundane threads are a preferred litmus test for getting to know your character and who you are as a writer! things like running into each other at school and hanging out at events are a must to test out the waters.

more intimate genres that involve any type of vulnerability would require a lot of discussion ooc. this includes connections like being besties, lovers, and exes. i'm open to , but please note that i generally cut things short there as i'm not a big fan of fwb to lovers for character development (read: i'm a pushover who kept getting roped into fwb to lovers relationships and i don't think it's particularly healthy for me to write against my intentions).

jennie's profile contains a lot of vulnerable details about who she is on the inside. please do not use this knowledge against her ic and if you do not trust yourself not to, please feel free to skip reading her profile. i poured a lot of love and care into writing her as a flawed character, but i understand how some writers can read this aspect of her on her profile and amplify it in their impression of her. just like you or me, jennie is trying her best to be a better version of herself. please respect her as a character and reach out to me if you have any ideas that may overstep my or her boundaries.
