a proud alum of the university, dmitri park is a dual russian and korean citizen as for the majority of his life he was raised as a muscovite. he left russia to better understand his home culture beginning from undergrad to then his graduate school. due to his sense of identity, he had a natural draw to the social sciences, fitting most stereotypes such as struggling with a few addictions. the stress of now becoming an assistant professor struggling to get tenured makes him on edge, but if he uses his drugs and alcohol to subdue himself from the stress his students really enjoy his classes.
