Background
Kim Jongin was born on January 18th. 1993 in the beautiful capital of South Korea. Both his mother and father grew up as FBI officers during the day and doctors by night; even though his mother was a guardian and his father was a master. Due to an arranged marriage, Heaven and Adam had married at a young age and they weren't even in love. Adam, who was abusive and had an alcohol problem, hired a baby sitter since they were out late all the time and he even had to guts to say that if his son misbehaved, that the baby sitter could do anything he wanted to Kai. Heaven was the only one who cared about their little Kai, therefore she tried to protect him as best as she could; but in the end both Heaven and Kai were punished by Adam. Heaven only had 6 broken ribs along with a broken ankle while Kai wasn't so lucky. Kai had a couple cracks in his skull, his left rib cage was completely broken and had penetrated his lungs, and most of all he had memory loss.

Six years had passed since then and Heaven and Kai's friendship was slowly getting stronger but due to her health, Kai had to take care of Heaven most of the time; but he didn't really mind. Just three months later his mother was healthy again, Kai was kidnapped by his own father and demanded money in exchange for Kai's life; when he was rescued his mother noticed the change in her son's eyes so she asked what Adam did and her eyes widened in pure anger and shock. Kai was whipped, , and even beaten; so decided that they would be both sent back to the mansion where Kai had met the love of his life. His name was Baekhyun Byun and six weeks after Jonghyun was born, Baekhyun left without a word. And now Kai was back to square one: cold, distant, and silent. br />
Personality
After being and the loss of his loved one, Kai seems to be 'cold' but in reality, he was just waiting for someone to peel his walsl down. Kai wanted someone to tell him that he was more than enough to be loved.
