background story
After her dad passes away she begins a desperate search for her missing mother (whom she doesn't know is still alive or even if she existed), but what she uncovers is a secret that will change everything she thought she knew about her life.
A clue sends her from her Island home to the hills of Hollywood, where by chance Demeter passes by the Underworld to pay a visit to her dearly loved daughter, Tayen's half-sister, Persephone. Desperate for a mother's love and place of belonging, she then enters Camp Half-blood.
It's been two years since she's encountered her new life and identity as a demigoddess, it's all sorts of amazing and some not-so-great moments, especially when you're able to sprout all sorts of nature from thin air - imagine a gigantic oak ripping your apartment apart in the middle of the night!
So, now that she knows she's anything but normal - it's time to tame these powers.
But it's hard when you're an assistant to a stubborn perfectionist at a newspaper company. Yeah, it'll definitely be difficult trying to balance being human and a demigoddess all at once.
