Sunggyu grew up in a happy loving family that consisted of his parents and older sister, his family wasn't rich but that never bothered him as he was able to have a smile because he was happy. As he grew up being taught by his father how to be a good fighter, his mother and sister doted on him as he also showed lots of interest in music. However, when Sunggyu was 10 years old he suddenly was forced to grow up as his family were betrayed by a close friend of his father who set them up and had them killed by other werewolves who wanted to take over. Sunggyu managed to survive but a part him did die that day as he then had to fend for himself and got stronger until he finally got revenge. At age 15 Sunggyu found his father's former friend and all the wereolves that killed his family, showing no remorse he slaughtered them and even had gone as far to having tortured some to death.

    Despite having grown up an orphaned and later commiting a bloody act of revenge, music was the only thing that kept Sunggyu sane as well as keeping him from  going on the deep end. Also holding close the memories of what his parents and sister taught him along with his music is what helped him become a great but serious leader of his pack. He does consider his close friends and pack ver dear to him almost as a second family but that still doesn't erase the scares in his heart. As seen and known by many as Sunggyu will become very emotionless when either his family or certain topics that might relate to it are mentioned to his. This normally causes Sunggyu to drown himself in music as he'll go days without sleep writing and singing songs at his home.

    Though Sunggyu currently is always happy and cheery with frineds that are ofteh other werewolves or other Downworlders he knows. Since Sunggyu  does often get curious about them and will try to interact with them "his way" which often is nearly being a playful tease. However, Sunggyu is also well known as sometimes being more than "teasing" with some Downworlders he meets more specially the men he meets. Sunggyu is gay and most certainly doesn't bottom for anyone, but suprisingly he's never taken any of his "relationships" far enough to have . Since Sunggyu still believes in the old tradition in finding his soul mate to be committed to and hopes to finally be happy with.
