Shim Dongjin, also know as jin, was born in Naju, South Korea. From a very young age he had a huge interest in performing. Whenever he could get enough people around him, whether it be family or complete stranger Donjin would sing his heart out for all to hear. at age 12, at the persuasion of friends and family members, Dongjin began auditioning for Entertainment companies. He would spend days upon end trying to perfect his musical craft, just to be met with the same result... rejection. 

Shim Dongjin is a practical and dedicated individual.He often takes everything he does a little too seriously and can come off as being stubborn and difficult.  Everything he has done in his life has been in the pursuit of one single goal, to become a singer. He has taken Voice lessons, taken dance classes, and even spends hours at a time in the gym to work on his image. To him this is more than a dream, it's his destiny and he would do anything to obtain it.
