Hyungseok was born to a lawyer of a father and nurse of a mother. His parents weren't what you'd call 'strict' but they were pretty tough on him about school and such, making sure he studied hard and wanted him to succeed well which was something he didn't like doing in all honesty. He was (and still is somewhat) of a troublemaker whom would much rather, skip his classes then follow in his parents footsteps.
After thinking long and hard, about what he wanted to do with his life he decided he'd much prefer the occupation of a dancer then a lawyer. Of course his father hated his son's decision.
They had countless arguements about this, sometimes to the point where Hyungseok would leave his home for days not even answering to his mother's pleas and begs for him to return home to them. Hyungseok feels that you should live your life, the way you want to live it and no one else can dictate what your job should be.
He still remains in contact with his mother somewhat after moving out, but his father? His father now acts like he never had a son but Hyungseok's just fine with that.
