Birth name: Oh Gwangsuk
Nickname/alias: Feeldog
Birth date: February 26, 1992

District 10 - Livestock

Weapon of choice

bow + arrow

Gwangsuk prefers attacking his opponents from a far distance. Knives and daggers will let him feel the weapon stabbing through the body, and it makes him feel disgusted.

DETAILS:

Strengths

Spending his life taking care of animals, Gwangsuk knows how to deal with barn animals, like cows, pigs, and chickens. He has knowledge on wild animals, too, so if you're an ally and the team happens to encounter one on the Games, he’d easily kill them for you. And if you have some raw meat and fire, he would cook for his allies and himself, too. Choosing him as your ally would be more than a good choice, if you stay on his good side.

Weaknesses

He has been taught on how to be ruthless, but he hasn’t been thought on how to think before he acts. He may get his ‘friends’ on trouble sometimes because of his clumsiness, so trusting him with something big like a plan to eliminate a group of tributes at once could be a bad idea.

Trivia

The name 'Feeldog' was given by his father before the Games. His father thinks that the name sounded tough, and to this day, Gwangsuk doesn't know how, and why.

Personality

He is clumsy at times; so better not trust him on important things (unless you want that well-planned idea of yours to be spoiled by him). He is merciless to his enemies, and pretty nice to his allies. Some things that his beloved dad had taught him made it into his personalities. For instance, he doesn’t trust anyone easily, even though that person’s an ally. His favours might make you think that he trusts you, but actually, he doesn’t. Allies are just allies. They will kill each other in the end anyway, so why bother opening up? Though he likes it when people decide to open up with him.

Background

Gwangsuk, like many other kids from District 10, was raised in a farm. His mother died when she was giving birth to him, leaving his father and him a farm to take care of. He spent his childhood taking care of the animals, giving them food and their needs, but never did he saw them slaughtered. He had always been asked to go back to his small house beside the barn while his father did the slaughtering. He was raised as an innocent child who had never seen anything or heard anything.

That was until he reached the age of thirteen, when the first Hunger Games started. His father suddenly feared that Gwangsuk will be a tribute and will die for the sake of other people's need to win the game, so he finally taught the teenage boy how to deal with the animals, and 'dealing' includes slaughtering. He was taught how to not pity the animals and just slaughter them for the sake of living, like how the games work. So, with that, the innocent Gwangsuk joins the new ruthless Gwangsuk. His father was somehow proud, even though he expected his only son to be nice, until the Hunger Games come. His father feared the day in which his boy will be a tribute.

And that day has come.
