Kyuhyun was palced into an orphanage when he was young, after watching his family get murdered. 

He was ignored by all of the other kids at the orphanage, which is the reason why he likes to keep to himself and has trouble making freinds. He has thought about and attempted to commit suicide on more than one occasion, leading to the discovery of his disorder and his placement in the assylum. The only thing that seems to calm Kyuhyun down when he's having a bad day is video games. He has also developed insomnia because every time he sleeps he relives the slaughter of his family.

Although he won't admit it, Kyuhyun craves friendship, care and love. He was loved very much by his family, and when they were taken away he ceased to get any, especially when he was sent to the orphanage. He's looking for someone(s) to replace the hole left by the loss of his family, and a safer way to numb the pain.
