Mechanism has a deep understanding of how machines and technology work due to this ability. He can physically construct any simple or complex machine with just his mental powers to function however needed, making his power very resourceful.

Family and Background
Darion lives with his mother, Tanya, and younger teenage sister, Cheyenne, in their neighborhood home. His father, John Shepherd, was a policeman and local hero who died on the job and remains the center of his family's moral compass. Darion stepped into the position as the man of the house and looks after his mother and sister in his father's absence.
As a student, Darion is exceedingly talented. He is set to graduate high school in the top percentage of his class and will be attending MIT on academic scholarship as an engineering major. He is also captain of his high school football team and has been approached by several college scouts seeking to recruit him on their teams.
Prospective Future with Legend
Darion has exemplified exceptional leadership qualities as well as a strong sense of duty to protect those around him. Mature and compassionate, he is expected to be a valued addition to the Legendary Forces as well as a moral guide to his fellow heroes in training. However, his self-sacrificial tendencies could become a liability due to his value of life above the mission at all times.
So far, the only known weakness to Darion's ability is the added componenet of liquid, which is near impossible for him to control as opposed to solid components of the objects he manipulates.
