a brief introduction

reN's demeanor varies on who he is talking to, as well as the reason for it. being a more 'classic' guy, he needs to establish the pecking order when confronted with a fellow male. an instinct, from pre-historic times which many guys seem to have lost. but unlike a million years ago, he won't yell at the top of his lungs, swing the leg of a sabre-tooth tiger and smack you on the head with it.

living on the streets made him careful and even though he will not back away from a respectable fight, ren has learned to judge who he should pay a little more attention to, in comparison to other random hooligans that inhabit the city. he is easy to irritate, but not hot-headed. conflicts are solved the smart way, albeit sometimes the smart way is to hand out a couple black eyes. it depends, really.

ren stands on the thin line between tense and relaxed, although he does tend to migrate towards the latter. confronted with someone subservient to him, he is a bit cheekier and more demanding than when facing a person 'above' him. but never, ever will you find him acting submissive. so he likes long hair, so he wears accessories... he's still a man and expects to be treated like one.

he is not a push-over and can hold his own in your average street brawl, doesn't take insults well and is especially sensitive about looking like a girly (only in a certain light, of course). ren only compliments people when he thinks they really desereve it and treats respectable people with respect. you cannot expect any more from him. if you're a woman he fancies, you'll see he can be quite a gentlemen as well.

in women, he likes class. ion he can understand to a certain extent if they are doing it as a last resort, but girls who throw themselves at him can hope for nothing but being ridiculed and mocked. if you're lucky, he'll just ignore you. ren isn't interested in s, he values the platonic elements in relationships (however brief they may be -> flings) as much as the physical part.

when it comes to men, his tastes differ. he both tops and bottoms, but becomes a lot more self-conscious and even conservative, in some respects, as a bottom. clingy people (both male and female) are a no, skinship - unless he initiates it - as well. if he bottoms, pda will only happen if he really, really, really likes you. don't fret, he's just embarrassed. you'll get plenty of action behind closed doors.

ren lives on the streets, moving from one park bench to the next. he survives on odd jobs, his quick, thieving fingers and in bad times also resorts to robbery. he's a minor criminal. his transportation vehicle changes frequently, as he just hijacks the closest thing at his disposal. oh and let me just say this: mistake him for a or treat him like one... and he may just beat you to pulp.

He Doesn't yell, doesn't shout, doesn't throw a tantrum and expresses his anger through the dull sound of his fist hitting another's face. So be warned, if ren cries or yells at you... Something is very, very wrong.

Storylines

« Don't Touch Me: Open » you happened to witness ren beating the crap out of a couple of guys who wanted to buy his . you also happen to witness those same guys coming back and him. you have your own stuff to worry about and don't help until the deed is done. he wants you to off, you want him to stop being a stubborn punk and do what's healthy for him. ren reminds you of your deceased younger brother and you take him under your wing.

« re-union: open » ren doesn't speak of his past, he has no reason to. He left it all behind him when he was 'given the chance to leave' or in the other words: was kicked out of the house. In itself, that never affected him, he'd been planning on leaving either way. Because you were there and he couldn't stand the way he looked at you. Ren knows it's wrong and he hated himself for not being able to stop it. He's settled down now (metaphorically) and is at peace. But then you show up. You've been looking for him and have realized you feel the same way, after Ren's disappearance. But you're stronger and want them to give in to their feelings, with or without approval.

« the 'p' stands for oooh-: open » you meet, you drink, you're drunk, you . that's the gist of it. a month later, ren doesn't remember zilch about you, other than the fact that you scratched his back up. you aren't too clear about him either, but his long, blue hair did stick in your mind to this day. and now you are set on finding him. you're preggo, have no money and no will to abort.. and he needs to take responsibility for what he's done. [does not include romance, more like a forced friendship with possible and occasional ]

« let me r.i.p.: open » you are ing annoying and ren hates your guts (which is rare, by the way). you seem to live to bother him, , joke about him and no matter what he does.. you keep coming back. like the ugliest jack-in-the-box that was ever made. he doesn't know why you keep bothering him and he doesn't care. ren just wants you to go away.
