Being the only child in her family and living with her aunt because her parents often go overseas for work, Jieun finds that it is best to learn how to survive and become independent. She starts to look for jobs, part-time ones, even though her aunt pleads her not to at first. Jieun finds working part-timely at her workplaces slightly calming and beneficial since she is able to learn more, make her own money and carry out her goals at the same time. Jieun is not poor, her parents own various of businesses overseas and in country, yet that does not stop her passion. Her dream is to become a singer, a successful one. Her part time jobs include a background singer at the bar (occasionally needed), a hired singer and barista at the cafe and a staff at the amusement park. She often visits the kindergarten as she loves to play with kids and she sometimes help her aunt with her car wash business. She's a great daughter anyone would have wished for, but she is also someone who tends to push herself since she is very hard-working. Juggling between her jobs and her studies, Jieun pretty much lives more than one life. Nosebleeds, sleepless nights, she has become almost immune to them. She's a nice person, a very nice one indeed.
