Youngbae is a new resident in Tokki Turtle Town, after leaving the big city life in Seoul as a singer. The reason why he made the sudden move was to start a new life, and move on from the tragedies that surrounded him in his celebrity life. His past was tragic with the loss of his best friend and manager in a freak car accident. With no where left to go and his label abandoning him, he made his way out with his belongings before making his way into the town. His memories still haunt him, and it's difficult to the point where he doesn't know what to do with his life anymore, but hopefully in this town he'll be able to find meaning in his life again.
He is currently single and looking for that special someone. Marriage isn't exactly what he's looking for, but if a girl can sweep him off his feet, he'd marry her in a heartbeat.

Youngbae is laid back and an overall good man. He has a good work ethic and has a blue-collar working type of mind set. So it's all about hard work; rest and rewards later. Although he is very laid back, he can be blunt and a little dense at times, but with nod bad intentions. He's a worrty-wort and always has something on his mind, whether it's big or small. When it comes to love and dating, he's very loyal and respectful to his partener, and always tries to communicate on the same level with them, even when things get rough. He can be jealous at times, but not to the point of being controlling or poessesive.
