Background Information: Lee Jieun was scouted by an agent to audition when her friend sent in a video of her singing and playing the guitar. She didn't want to at first but agreed at the request of her friends. When she auditioned for the first time she also showed her abilities on the drums and piano. However, she was rejected and then after 3 months of non stop practicing, Jieun auditioned again and was accepted. Although originally auditioning to be a trainee, she first debut as an actress and started to make a name for herself. Soon she was put into a trainee girl group, named ALICE, as their main vocalist. They were originally a part of the survival show COUNTDOWN, and along with 30SECONDS won it and debuted. In the next survival show, VERSUS, she along with G-Dragon, mentored Group 2 which is now known as X.MPIRE. So far she has written all of the songs for ALICE except for one, that was written by a fellow member. She has also written all of her songs on her solo album, which she dedicated to her parents who died right before she debuted. Her personality is that she is very outgoing yet shy, she is very friendly and tends to get along with everyone. However, she has trust issues so she doesn't trust easily. She's a very loyal person and always looks out for her friends and those she cares about. She's also very stubborn and a bit of a perfectionist. Oh and she's a tomboy and HATES when she's told she doesn't look like one (mainly because she knows she doesn't).
