Personal Message

i do both povs, but i lean towards 3rd a lot more.

i'm fine with any type of plot/genre, but honestly fluff isn't my strongest and i only do when i'm in the mood for it.

i never wing it. always have a plot ready if you're going to ask to rp with me. if you don't we can just make one up together.

i don't really like it when random korean words are used, like "arraseo" or "annyeong" but i guess things like "noona" and "unnie" are okay.

please wait a few days before poking me. i probably got busy and couldn't reply or i'm still trying to think of a reply for you or something along those lines.

sometimes i do selective replies and answer some people before you. reasons being their plot interests me more or i'm completely brain dead for ours or whatever. i'm not ignoring you, you're not forgotten. if i take way too long though, like a week or something, then i probably did forget and you can poke me.

try not to constantly poke me, especially if you see i haven't responded to other people yet. maybe i'm going really slow with replies that day or something else is happening, like i have tumblr open on another tab and i'm too distracted, because this has happened before. maybe if you get bumped off my wall or something and you wanna make sure i won't forget you, then that's fine.

my timezone is pst, so if you live on the other side of the world then we're gonna have to work around the time difference.

if you ask to rp, you're starting.

i swear if you use emoticons and text talk on me i'm not responding.

i won't respond to one liners either. or two liners, because they aren't any better.

even if it says i'm online, that doesn't mean i'm going to be responding. i probably logged in to check other rps and got too lazy to long out.

i'm not much of a person to poke honestly. maybe if i really liked our plot. but other than that, i don't really do it. so if you forget about me or i get buried, that's the end of our rp.

if we're rping in rooms, please be patient with me. i often forget about the rooms when i'm rping in there even with the new room notifications because i probably clicked on it to read the reply so it's not there to remind me. i'm giving you permission to poke me lots if we're rping in rooms, but please still wait a few days before doing so each time.

when it comes to replying in general, i can be either fast or slow. it really depends on my mood and how busy i am.

there are times when i'm too lazy to re-read my reply and i just click send, so i apologize for any typos that may be in my replies.

i'm pretty sure this ooc section is making me sound like a stick in the mud or something, but i assure you i'm not. in fact, i'm really dumb irl and pretty much the female version of jackson from got7. so don't be afraid to actually start a conversation ooc or befriend me if you want to. i don't mind.

anyway, stay gorgeous.... or y'know, handsome if you're a dude... or be both if you're both, or attractive if you're neither. idk, whatever. just have a nice face, alright?

About Me.

Park Hyomin is a person who holds a few secrets. Her smallest one is the fact that Hyomin isn't even her real name. It's Sunyoung. Park Sunyoung. You might be wondering why she even changed her name in the first place. The backstory is a long one, so are you ready to sit and listen?

Born in Los Angeles, Park Sunyoung was a sociable girl, making new friends left and right. But she was also a naive child. She often friended people she most likely shouldn't have, and by the time she was 15 there was a boy who started following her all around school. He wouldn't leave her alone. Somehow he even got his schedule changed to be the same as hers. At the time Sunyoung had no idea how to directly tell the boy to leave her alone, so she was beginning to ignore him as time went by, barely answering any of his questions and shutting down his attempts to talk to her. The boy grew angry but it worked. Or so she thought. He seemed to leave her alone until after her 16th birthday. After that, the boy got worse; started following her home and waiting outside her house. After about a month, her parents told the school and got his parents involved. Problem solved, right? Wrong.

Things seemed to be quiet for a few months after that, but then he somehow started sneaking past his parents, once again following her everywhere. By now she could call him her stalker. She didn't like saying that. It scared her. Made her feel uneasy. She was always sending an extra look over her shoulder and then some. At some point, her older brother became her bodyguard and made sure she was protected, making sure the boy didn't try to approach her. The next breaking point was when Sunyoung was getting into her car and he was in the back seat waiting for her. When she screamed, her brother had came to her rescue. Her parents filed a restaining order against him and then proceeded to move out of the area. They thought everything would be fine after that. And it seemed to get better.

Sunyoung was able to finish school and had gotten her own job as a fine arts photographer with some help from her dad. Now 18 and the stalker behind her, Sunyoung thought she could move into her own apartment by herself and be fine. A month after moving in, she started getting random 'gifts' at her doorstep. Batteries for her camera, food for the dog she owned, things like that. At first she brushed off the weird things in front of her door, until one day she came home to find the entrance slightly ajar. She thought maybe she forgot to close it all the way, but still walked in cautiously. The lights were off and the next thing she knew she was being jumped from behind. Thank God her scream was loud enough to attract the neighbors attention. She found out it was her stalker. He had found her again, which explained the weird things arriving at her apartment.

Even though he was going to jail this time, she was afraid for when he got out, if he would come looking for her again. So, Sunyoung decided to move in with her grandparents in South Korea, and changed her name to Hyomin, starting a new life and erasing everything of her old one so there were no traces leading to where she now was. She decided to give up on photography, since it was apart of her old life and now only does it as a hobby. After posting a few of her drabbles on the internet, she got around to writing a full length book and that was the start of her career as a novelist. Though despite living in a different country with a new name, Hyomin is still wary wherever she goes and refuses to move out of her grandparents house. Her excuse is that they're reaching an age where they need to be taken care of.

Instead of opening up to people quickly and trusting whoever she meets, Hyomin has become more stoic and tries to present herself as intimidating as an attempt to keep people away from her unless they seem okay enough to talk to. She's become more strict and bossy and her standards are higher than ever now, so if you don't say the right words, she'll kick you to the curb in the blink of an eye. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the story of Park Hyomin. But, are these all of her secrets? The world may never know.
