|The mind's resilience is truly a thing to regard... in times of great exertion or suffering, only then can one's true strength come forth...|

Perhaps lady luck was just a feminist, seeking to dish out good fortune to those of the fairer and casting aside all others. it seemed pretty likely, given jeongmin's circumstances. lee jeongmin was born amongst a slightly impoverished family. they were the type who barely made ends meet, but managed to still stay afloat in the economy. it was because of this overlaying financial crisis that his parents often 'encouraged' him and his sister, sung kyung, into fields of prominence. from their early days, paths of medicine and law school had been mapped out for them without an inch of flexibility. it was tough... but it was a life he'd accepted.

unfortunately, his sister didn't feel the same. at some point in her adolescence, she began to divulge in other things and entertained thoughts of different dreams. it enraged her parents and tightened a leash on him. however, he was convinced that with her by his side, things would be fine... she'd never sway from their regimes, after all... never abandon the family. but their father did... one morning he'd gone to work and never returned, leaving behind no note or warning... only taking much more than he needed and leaving them with confusion and heartache.

from there, everything spiraled downhill. sung kyung left after tensions with their mother became too great, and pursued her literature dreams in college. however, jeongmin was alone then, fending for himself at the hands of his broken mother's will. she drove hardwork and betrayal deep into him, engrained a loyalty he already had. the effects of her family's decay had taken its toll, and jeongmin ended up enlisting her for therapy. however, not a word of this made it to sung kyung. though she called often and even offered her brother a place to stay, he refused... it felt so wrong to run from their problems and leave their mother to wander in the wreckage. instread he remained, the 'good boy' of his family left to squash whatever dreams he'd hope to create en lieu of pleasing the last person left to him.

my Personality...

| your hardships are what sculpt out your character. the downfalls and whether or not they break you. and how you manage to pick yourself back up after each and every one. |

Some would say that Jeongmin is the exact opposite of his sister in a few aspects... he's less abrasive than she is, though equally as stubborn, and more inclined to express his forward way of thinking in a less violent manner. he often doesn't like arguing, rather settling things quickly even if it means waving the whole thing off. He's a bit of a 'nice guy' in terms of conversing with women, the type who speaks kindly and knows how to cook for the one he loves. in actuality, the boy has quite a mouth on him that, though less vulgar, can be just as 'sassy' as his sister's. it's also an inherent trait for him to be nosy , rather easily giving into his wonderings... but unlike sung kyung, his is mostly due to pure curiosity.

one other thing he and sung kyung do have in common is the fact that he's a hardworker. though he was never given the chance to chase his dreams as she has, he puts forth his all in everything he does. he's a bit of a perfectionist in that sense, and it kills him. he's more likely to bust his helping others than paying attention to his own health, so don't be surprised if he faints on you. while his sister keeps her mind occupied with her writing, he does so by thinking of others and hauling a workload.

A few Quirks...

✦ Jeongmin is actually anemic (sung kyung likes to say that he's just a starved vampire halfling in need of blood).

✦ he doesn't like bringing people home or showing them that he's struggling. ever.

✦ Though he plans to go to school for nursing, he actually has an interest in psychology.

✦ He's a wonderful cook who tends to 'stress bake'.

✦ Though a sweet guy, he has an ingrained competitive that shows the most when he's playing soccer.
