Background

His father was a big name in China, some business man

His mother was a Chinese woman who grew up in Seoul

After 1 year the two got married.

He left her when she was pregnant with Tao, after her illegitimate son had to live with them due to his father passing away.

Her family wouldn't take her back and with no where left to go they lived on the streets or in a shelter if there was room.

Zitao grew close to his brother, and their mother never diffrentiated between the two, but when he was 10, 
his brother woke him at night and said a final goodbye and no other clues. 
His mother was ill, and he supported her and took care of her. 
When he was 15 she passed away, leaving him feeling more alone than he ever had. Having never had friends due to always working, 
and given his social status he had no one. 
Her death sent him into a spiraling depression, he would give up caring about himself, sometimes think about ending his life,
but somehow he pulled through. 
He was 18 when decided to get himself something, a tattoo. He had money and didn't know what to use it on since he just had himself to care for now. 
So he found a tattoo place, deciding to get a tribal dragon on one arm, and a tiger on the other, both in chinese brush style. While the artist worked they
talked, Tao telling his story to the old man who owned the place.
In the end he gave Tao a sheet of paper, a pen, and asked him to come up with something.
Tao obeyed, intricately designing a tattoo for an arm in detail, noting out colors schemes as well.
The man approved, and being a believer in generosity told Tao that if he attended collegeto be certified in tattoo art, he would pay for him.
Tao agreed. Granted he didnt know much but he was a fast learner, and within his first year he knew that he loved art. 
It took a year more than planned but he finally gained certification in ink, and spent another two years under apprenticeship. 
At 21 he opened his own shop,Moonlight Ink, with some help from the man and a few friends of his and now is on his way to being one of the most unique and 
well known artists in the city. 
He specializes in all types of tattoos, but his favorites are tribal, watercolor, and brush . 
He offers color ink, white ink, ones that can be only seen under black light and is the only shop to have glow-in-the dark ink that isn't harmful. 

Personality

He's caring but he's not openly expressful of it. You'll have to pay attention to detail to get it. He's the guy who'll buy you drinks if you're down and not expect anything in return. Personal life is preferred to be private, any affairs are just that. No strings attached. Growing up in the backstreets with his mother and older brother who ran off with just a goodbye in the middle of the night doesnt provide for happiness. He still does suffer from negativity and depression but its not always. He's extremely caring and generous, and he's mindful of those who used to be like him when he grew up.
