Bold. Italics. Underline. She was never a part of a family. In other words, she was an orphan and had spent the entire childhood in an old orphanage set up by a pair of grandparents. Having being showered on with love and care just like any other kids, she grew up into a kind, caring woman just like her grandparents had hoped her to be. She never knew how her parents were like. She had never stayed in any foster homes for potential adoptees had never looked in her way. It didn't bothered her much because she didn't minded staying behind to help the old elderly couple. She was the only one who remained in the orphanage and it had prompted the grandparents to adopt her as their own. Until at the age of twenty, she had to move away from them and to learn how to live independently. While she was away, the grandparents that she had lived with for twenty years passed away, leaving her the only recipient of their wills to inherit millions of dollars in her name. With that inherited, she had never wasted it away and instead, donated a bit of the money to another orphanage to upkeep the expenses.

However, she was always ignored and looked over by potential adoptees for one reason. She was born with a hidden disability. It was none other than hearing impairment or deafness. Born with mild to severe hearing impairment which disallowed her to hear at least about 60% of what a normal healthy human can, she grew up, learning both oral and visual languages to enable her to be able to settle down well in a mainstream society. It was made possible because of the grandparents whom were in charge of the orphanage. Unknown to every child they had taken in, they were actually rich which was why Jimin was given the golden chance to learn how to speak well despite her disability. People would never known that she was hearing impaired but if one was very keen, one can see how she can't really pronounce words so perfectly. It was one of her complex.

Having come to love the nature because of where her orphanage used to be located in, she set up a florist shop right in the middle of Hongdae, hiring people with physical and hidden disabilities like her to give them a chance at living the life. She loved flowers and she always admired how pretty they were. Some flowers could even grow well even in a dirty environment and she loved that fact.
