Ability Description: Andlát is the rod Amber carries with her. Never separated from the tomboy, the rod is designed to look like a bar earring. However, when the piercing is taken off, the tiny rod expands into half the size of Amber herself. In this form, the rod can inflict pain on the "victim" much like an ordinary weapon. However, if Amber's will to kill is strong enough, the rod will transform into a scythe. One blow from this deadly weapon results in instant death.

Personality: Celeste or Amber-the girl prefers the latter. The third of the second generation of the Rozen Maiden dolls, she is the younger twin sister of Henrietta. Once bubbly, social, and somewhat reluctant to participate in the Alice Game, the inner darkness she was born with took over when her respect for her "father" died along with her original personality. Cold, harsh, and quiet, Amber's cruelness is what distinguishes her from her twin. Her sarcasm and bluntness makes her words themselves a knife. Arrogant with an intimidating aura around her, it is difficult to approach the boyish girl. Other than her "brothers", she stays away from and has a strong distrust of males. With the exception of Rozen, she loves her family. Her cold persona melts just slightly when she is with her "siblings". She is quietly overprotective of them all, especially her twin sister. Acting on impulse more than logic, the androgynous girl will not hesitate to harm anyone who is particularly irking. However, her intelligence should not be underestimated, particularly her intricate plans for her victims' deaths.
Background: Originally created with the same image as her twin, Amber was once just as girly as any girl. Her hair was long and her personality bubbly, it all changed when her seemingly perfect world fell apart and the reality of her life crashed down on her.
Dark clouds cast a shadow over the city the day he called her to his study. It was the usual small chat, and she expected to be dismissed soon. However, in a sudden burst of rage he held the young girl against the door in a chokehold. Ignoring her confused pleas to let her go, he pulled on her long locks of hair until she yelped in pain and could feel some strands being ripped from her scalp. Tears rolled down her face as she looked at her suddenly enraged father. "Not one of you are perfect. Not one." Confused by the statement, she opened to question him only to have him painfully squeeze her cheeks. More tears spilled from her now swollen eyes and she could taste blood from where her teeth had cut her cheeks. He sneered condescendingly at her, telling her she wasn't good enough, not pretty enough. No one could ever think of wanting this pitiful girl. Slapping her across the face, he jerked her harshly away from the door and pushed the sobbing girl out.
Running to her room and ignoring her siblings as well as the incruciating pain erupting from her entire head, she reached blindly for scissors on her table. Sobs turning into weeps as she sat in front of her mirror. Snip snip. Locks of dark brown hair drifted to the floor. With every cut, streaks of her true personality took over the girl. A flat, expressionless gaze and a dark smirk reflected on the mirror as her hair slowly got shorter and shorter. Her new hairstyle complete, she proceeded to throw out all her pretty clothes and dresses. Her appearance almost unrecognizable, her true personality finally shone. Gone was the lively, caring girl, the respect, everything she believed she lived for. In her place was a cold, cruel girl who would not hesitate to harm and to kill. She was a puppet of her own emotions and temperament. Indeed, she was a doll Rozen created. Though he had broken her, she had never felt this alive, this exhilarated, this whole. The transformation now complete, the true Amber had finally been unleashed.
And never again will she be the shallow fool.
