After his younger brother I.M pursued a
career in music he was left alone. His
aunt, was left in a coma state after what some bullies who were following and harrasing his cousin TK.
He stayed home and simply felt a bit
lonely to be honest. His brother was
slowly became a worldwide star and
during college he was often asked why didn't he follow in his brother's footsteps, he was around the age of twenty four when his brother began to become popular around the underground rap scene. Afterwords, when his younger brother debuted, he was often compared to him many times, seeing as how his brother began to pay for the bills.
After doing his mandatory military service, he became interested in the world of entertainment and he began to pursue music. Seeing how he already graduated in college with a major in classical and modern composition, Kyungil started to work on becoming a star like his younger brother. So for the next four years of his life (age twenty four to twenty eight) he practiced everyday with a schedule on dancing, singing and rapping. After turning twenty eight he decided to auditon for companies, first he went to AOMG where his brother used to be signed, but was rejected because he did not have the hip hop look and his rapping seemed to have an idol feel. After that, he went to JYP Ent, but was rejected because of his age. Finally, when he received news that his brother was now signed under the company, Royal Entertainment, he decided to audition there and finally got into a company.
