Joshua is a rather sweet, affectionate and shy individual. He's pretty reserved and he tends to keep to himself most of the time. He likes engaging in simple talk and he also loves cuddles and watching anime. He enjoys reading and he's one of the rare people that actually likes Twilight. He also loves watching Adventure Time, Naruto, One Piece and Bleach. He doesn't tend to get angry easily and is perfectly content to stay at home, listening to music and reading.
Joshua isn't much of a rough person when it comes to . He can take roughness to some degree, but he draws the line at breath play or knife play. His kinks involve roleplaying, the master/pet kink and also the . He's good with light too such as blindfolding or binding his wrists or using various different toys, but he prefers not to be too rough and likes things to be more on the vanilla side.
As a kid, Joshua was ually harassed by his own father when Joshua finally came out as homoual to his parents. His father thought the only way to 'cure' his 'illness' was to beat the 'gay' out of him. The incident gave him quite a lot of trauma and ever since then, he is afraid of anything to do with love or romance. When his mother found out what her husband had done to Joshua, they fought a lot and his father threatened to murder both his mom and Joshua. Eventually, his parents had a divorce and his mother had to go to the hospital since all the mental and emotional scars had done a lot to her. Joshua's father disappeared and Joshua does his best to help his mother by sending in money whenever he can. He took a lot of jobs even as a teenager to raise as much money as possible but eventually the treatment failed and his mother inevitably passed away. Joshua lived with his grandparents on his mother's side. He was eventually sent to an American boarding school so that he could get a better education but he was constantly bullied and picked on. It's given him bad anxiety and paranoia and he had severe depression. He snapped out of it years later when he had been about to just end everything but he heard someone playing a guitar. He was attracted to the sweet melody like a moth to light and when he found the guitarist, the man holding the guitar told him how when he had also been ready to end his own life, a guitarist had saved him. Since then, the man plays the guitar in the exact same spot, hoping to do the favor for someone else. He eventually gave Joshua the guitar and he instrument snapped him out of his sadness and he began to fall in love with the guitar. Since then, he has been playing the guitar and it still is and will always be his favorite instrument. He hasn't dated anyone or gotten a boyfriend because of this reason as he believes that anything to do with love would be exactly like how he had been molested when he was a child. He also has quite a bit of a phobia of people touching him, especially if they touch him for too long. It makes him rather nervous and paranoid.
