Simon's younger brother was killed in a full moon due to an accident while they were watching some men transform into wolves. Because of this his mother and father [which are both from the family of witches] were convinced that they needed to protect their children by using an adapted immortality spell to make them more powerful than werewolves. Though Simon's mother and father knew the consequences Nature might bring to them with regards to the imbalance they were about to do, they still had proceeded calling the sun for life, the magical white oak tree for immortality, and some doppelgangers blood to complete the ritual. The transformation was of a success and they were the first and original blood line of vampires to exist.

Powers and Abilities

Have extremely enhanced senses that include being able to smell/hear humans and vampires over long distances, and the ability to see in pitch darkness.

immortal and unchanging, Can infect others by feeding them their blood so that they turn into vampires themselves, fast healing

Have sharp, pointed, retractable teeth that emerge from their gums and extend beyond their human teeth

Superior Strenght, Speed, ability to compel any magical creature/human, Aura Perception, unused psychic connections with other vampires

Weaknesses

Vervain - A poison to vampires that incapacitates them for a short period of time.

Wood of the oak tree - could kill vampires by staking them right through the heart

Angelic powers - Angels can burn vampires from the inside out with a touch, killing them

Sunlight - It's not deadly, but can cause a nasty sunburn.

Inability to come inside a particular house without an invitation by the owner

Bloodlust- an intensified overwhelming hunger for human blood

Wolf bite - also fatal and could kill vampires
