Her story starts with her parents. A sailor and a traveling merchant who had fallen in love at first sight and decided to build a life together. Her mother who had been a traveling merchant, had decided to give up her wandering ways and set roots on the city of Ferric to form a family with her husband. She opened up a small shop and while she worked it, her husband worked at sea. Their love was real, like a fairytale. Something Victoria knows only happens once in a blue moon. After some time of being married, her mother became pregnant with their first child, a male. Soon enough, he was followed by fraternal twin girls. Victoria being one of them. Last of the Song clan being her little brother whom she cares a lot about.

She grew up happy and although she wasn't rich, she never lacked food on the table or clothes on her back. Her parents even provided enough for a good enough education and took them to certain events people with much less could not go. One of the events being a traveling circus that came to visit Ferric and there is where Victoria fell in love with daggers and knives. She watched as a young man moved with fluid motions as he threw knives at his assistant and did flips while doing so, never missing his target. It was something that a young and impressionable girl came to obsess over and asked her parents for her first dagger when she was eight. Of course, her father and mother refused. But no matter, she would practice with throwing sharp sticks or even with her acrobatics. Getting to be more nimble. Life was good for Qian...Until the worst happened.
Her mother had fallen ill and her father had taken leave on a boat to search for medicine, leaving her older brother and her in charge of the others. They did their best and Vic cared for their mother with as much fervor as she would practice. But in the end, her father returned in vain...The stages of her illness being too advanced and the medicine being no help. In less than a month of his return, her mother died, buried in her favorite white and blue dress and surrounded by flowers. Her headstone in the town's cemetery. After that, things were never the same.
Her father did not smile as much and her brother had to take over the store after giving up on studying. Victoria learned to cook and helped with her younger siblings. There was still love in the family, just a bit less light in every one of their eyes. About a month after her mother's passing, her father did gift her the dagger she had wanted so desperately. She sometimes believes he did so out of guilt, for Victoria having to care for her siblings in her mother's place. No matter what the reason, she did not give up the dagger and began to practice with it. She got to a point, where she could do the same flips as her childhood idol and never miss her strike, so long as her target never moved. The first time she tried with her brother, she gave him a scar on his head, but he lived. But moving on.

By the time she turned eighteen, she began to feel an itch in her blood. Her soul calling out to the breeze that guided her to the outer roads. She confessed these feelings to her father and he told her that her mother used to be the same way, up until she met him. That before she fell in love, she would always feel an itch to travel until she found the place she belonged to. This made Victoria think and after a month or so of preparation, she decided to go against her family's wishes and travel out into the world. Currently, she has been traveling for about six years, always returning home for a while before shipping off again, content with her adventures until she find the place where she belongs.
