World War 3 has left the majority of the world uninhabitable. What was once known as the US is now completely covered in desert, ruins of skyscrapers being the last traces of human life. The inhabited parts of Canada, too, have been destroyed, as have been all of Western Europe, South-East Asia, North Africa, and South America. The Human race has decreased from 9,7 billion people in yeah 2053 to a total of 2,3 billion shattered over the whole world. The biggest population is estimated in North Canada and Alaska, as well as middle Africa. Very few people still have electricity, let alone warm water; humankind has been thrown back in time for centuries. Small communities have formed, and everybody does what they can to survive.
Bylot Island, Canada. Compared to all the other countries, an advanced and grand country. Not only has the world's elite gathered here after the war, but also it has scientific factulties that promise to repopulate the world. This country, right now, is in an uproar because of seven people. The country's hope lies on them, even though nobody knows why; all that is known about them is the fact that all seven have been raised by mammals of all kinds. Now being held in Calv's laboratories, everybody is expecting big.
What people don't know: Calv needs those people to tame their latest experiments. They crossed mammals with humans, bred them in test tubes and then locked them away because they were deemed too dangerous. What Calv doesn't know: The humans they captured are just as much wild as the hybrids they bred. And all of them have one goal: Get out and back where they belong.

001. I believe it's common sense by now, but favorite the roleplay. ;) 002. This is a literate third pov roleplay only. this means: absolutely no one-liners. 003. no godmodding. 004. All races, ethnicities, religions, ualities and genders are allowed here. after gaining a total of 25 activity points, you may have a second character. However, this character has to be of a different character type. 005. There will be events during which activity will be mandatory (check the info). Between events, the inactivity will be set to 14 days, during events, it will be set to five days. once inactive, nobody will be kicked out right away, but given the choice of whether or not one would like to stay. upon ignoring our question, you will be removed. 007. as this roleplay is rated r, everthing from violence to is allowed, as long as the roleplay's gist doesn't go missing..
