According to your school, you are one of many students already three steps closer to the career of your dreams. Fortunately, we can help make life even easier for you. With your credentials, we've noticed you own an immense amount of knowledge and skill that can demonstrate the drive and commitment needed for our program, and we want to offer you the chance to develop that into the full blown career of your choice within a period of four months. All you have to do is sign up (online, through the mail, by phone, or in person), get interviewed, and wait for your letter of acceptance!

ooc description

Basically, this is how this works: Pretend you're a hard working performing arts student and you just got an email from the camp. Why did they pick you? Because a teacher of yours or someone at your school recognized your talent and wanted you to take advantage of a camp like this. But what exactly is the camp?

As mentioned, Camp Stardom is a camp for performing arts students aspiring to be someone famous one day, but think of it like an internship program/trainee period of sorts. Students sign up for the program, send in an audition tape, and once they get accepted, they begin the official program, where they hone their skills and prepare for their eventual debut.

The camp is based in California in North America, and it takes place over a period of four months (usually the last month of school through the first month of school for both high school and college students). Each month spent at the camp is broken up according to a camper's number one priority. You'll see more what I mean when you reach the application form, but just know that not everyone will be doing exactly the same thing.

Anyway, though, once you complete your four months, you graduate from the program and start your journey as an idol, model, or actor with the backing of the camp for about a year. Once that year ends, you become a free agent and have to seek your own management and such, but you'll get the opportunity as an alumnus to work at the camp if you wish, which will grant you another year of camp management. And, yeah, that's that.

ONE Favorite the rp, and do not join if you're honestly just going to leave the rp a few days later.
TWO This is an au rp. We highly encourage you to be creative with your characters. If you need an idea or example of what kind of characters you can have, check out an admin’s character bio.
THREE Marriage and pregnancy are allowed for camp staff; controlled violence (like roughhousing and fights), drug use, and such are allowed for everyone, just be sure you and your partner are both okay with it.
FOUR We accept any celebrity of any ual orientation so long as they are 16 or older.
FIVE Second characters will be unlocked once the rp reaches 50 favorites. Thirds will be unlocked at 100 favorites.
SIX Activity is not stressed. We strive to be a completely chill rp where you can just come and go as you please. With that said, we do not expect the chat to stay lit 24/7.
SEVEN Keep the ual talk/acts and gifs/pics to your walls and pms. We don’t want that in the chat.
EIGHT Out of character drama will not be tolerated at all. Leave any drama you are in wherever it is and/or handle that in private. If you are caught disturbing multiple people or if an admin receives multiple complaints about you, you will be given a warning. Any further issues and you will be kicked.
NINE Do interact with the other members of the roleplay, especially the newcomers. No one likes feeling left out and ignored, so please make an effort to talk outside of your group of friends every now and again. Please also refrain from face-chasing.
TEN Please set up your profiles as soon as possible. Use the provided roleplaying rooms as well.
ELEVEN Please do not ualize minors ic and ooc. If your character is underage (whether ic or ooc), you should not be doing plots or anything that ualizes them. That means if you rp someone like NCT's Jisung or LOONA's Yeojin, even if you make them older, they are still underage irl and should not be ualized. If you rp someone like BLACKPINK's Jisoo and make them underage, you also should not ualize them.

Before you try to apply: Know that there are three types of campers (idol, model, actor), and with that, comes different types of camp schedules.

If your character wishes to be an idol, they will primarily spend their months learning and practicing how to sing, dance, play an instrument, behave on radio shows/tv, etc. Camp activities for them include the following: singing and songwriting/composing, rapping, dancing, instrument practice, and public relations and image establishment. Those who wish to be idols will also have the opportunity to dabble in other areas.

If your character wishes to be a model, they will primarily spend their months learning what it is to be a model. Camp activities for them include the following: learning fashion and fashion history, photography, fashion/editorial modeling, runway modeling, commercial modeling, makeup and cosmetics, and public relations and image establishment. Those who wish to be models will also have the opportunity to dabble in other areas.

If your character wishes to be a actor, they will primarily spend their months learning what it is to be an actor/actress. Camp activities for them include the following: improv acting, voice acting, basic acting, directing and film/video editing, public relations and image establishment, makeup and cosmetics, prop building, and scriptwriting. Those who wish to be actors/actresses will also have the opportunity to dabble in other areas.

As previously mentioned, camper's will have a schedule based on their number one priority. Their first three months are spent performing various camp activities, and then the last month is spent focusing on their top three activities and tying everything all together. In addition to doing that, camper's will get the opportunity to dabble in other areas not under their main priority. consider it as the camp wanting to produce somewhat well-rounded individuals, and wanting campers to be the kind of idol, actor, or model they've always wanted to be.
