Le CHATeau is a roleplay based in Kabukichō, Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan—the entertainment and red light district in Japan. It was founded in 1955 by an anonymous company that manufactured the first and only kitten/human hybrids. Instead of releasing the kittens to the public and selling them off, the company decided to test out the hybrids in a hotel setting. Thus was born Le CHATeau, the first and only establishment to house kitten/human hybrids, but of course the company didn’t just stop there.
The success they had with the hotel was enough to make them greedy for more, and since they were situated in what was to be a red light/entertainment district, they went “what the hell” and were like “let’s make a secret cabaret” and then BOOM- the underground and illicit business of Le CHATeau had been created. Over the years, the cabaret shifted from underground cabaret to basement nightclub with new levels below the lobby.
Today, Le CHATeau stands a tall and successful business, operating strictly as a hotel during the day and opening the doors to their secret basement nightclub at night. The company in charge remains the only company to breed kitten hybrids and they have a patent on it, so all the other hoes can it.
Other things to note: All kitties so far have been test tube babies and are sterile until further notice. They are also only able to work either for the hotel or the club, not both. And they can’t be an exotic breed, just domestic cat breeds.

ONE. Favorite the rp. Upvotes are appreciated.
TWO. This is an au rp; you are not idols, and we encourage you to be creative with your characters.
THREE. Marriage and pregnancy are not allowed for now, but controlled violence (like roughhousing and fights), drug abuse, in character drama, and such are allowed. Just be sure you a) keep it in designated zones (ex: no in the vanilla chat), b) make sure to include trigger warnings for certain things (ex: violence and drug use) when appropriate, and c) have your partner's consent.
FOUR. Second characters are allowed after we reach 30 faves and 15 upvotes; thirds at 55 favorites and 30 upvotes. Unless you had a second pre-reserved. If you had a second pre-reserved, we will put them on hold for you until you reach 500 points.
FIVE. You will be marked inactive after fifteen days, but we strive to be a completely chill rp where you can just come and go as you please. With that said, we do not expect the chat to stay lit 24/7, and we plan to be a more slow-paced rp. If you happen to be marked inactive, you will be kicked without warning.
SIX. Comment in the Hiatus room for one. Hiatuses can last up to one month (four weeks), and semi-hiatuses a month and a half (six weeks). Extensions can be given if needed, but make sure you talk to an admin about that.
SEVEN. Minors aren’t allowed in dis . Keep the vanilla chat soff and the 18+ chat with all your gifs and stuff.
EIGHT. Out of character drama will not be tolerated at all. Leave any drama you are in wherever it is and/or handle that in private. If you are caught disturbing multiple people or if an admin receives multiple complaints about you, you will be given a warning. Any further issues and you will be kicked.
NINE. Do interact with the other members of the roleplay, especially the newcomers. No one likes feeling left out and ignored, so please make an effort to talk outside of your group of friends every now and again. You should also refrain from posting things like "/sits and watches quietly" or any similar post if you expect people to talk to you. You get what you give.
TEN. Please set up your profiles as soon as possible. Use the provided roleplaying rooms as well.
