〔 the north 〕— abo wolf au。OPEN! ↬ first heat has ended 9/4! we need more wolves in general

for centuries the moonstone pack has hidden away from the human world deep within the northern forest. as time went on more and more packs have submitted to growing world and relocated themselves into to cities. now the moonstone pack is the last pack in the northern territory to have stuck to their roots but with humans destroying the earth, every winter becomes more difficult to survive. but together we can survive the winter and the dangers of the human world... come join us today! 

alphas: these are the wolves that leave the compound to get food and wood for the pack. they are the only ones, alongside a few betas, that can produce a knot and help reproduce. when an alpha mates they will become overly possessive and jealous with their mate; it will be even more extreme if the two are a true pair. alphas can go into ruts that are very similar to an omegas heat. 

 

betas: these wolves are the happy medium between an alpha and omega. possessing both the aggressive traits and submissive traits (depending on the wolf ofcourse) however, those that are fertile will have a womb like an omega to reproduce; a beta that is sterile wILL not have a womb. (you will have to put which one in ur app. or you can roll)

 

omegas: these wolves are the lowest ranking in the pack, their jobs are to tend to the gardens, to cook in the kitchen, babysit the pups. all omegas can get pregnant through their heats. 

 

mates/marking: marking is done when a couple wants to become mates. this process is irreversible and should not be taken lightly. there will be an event where the pack comes together around the bonfire and alphas and betas are allowed to present furs to the desired wolf that they want to court. omegas/betas are allowed to take the furs even if they do not wish to court the wolf, these furs will help them decorate their nests for the harsh winters.  

 

heat/ruts: a process where a wolf releases a scent that is irresistible to potential mates, this is typically where omegas and a small number of betas will be able to become pregnant. heats will occur at the same time, meanwhile, an alphas rut will occur at different times. (i will allow the rper to choose the time, however, it cannot occur twice in one week) to those who have read this far, put this in ur app: teacups;
