don't be rude, disrespectful or unkind to others or yourself; this is a place of learning and sharing.
if, for some reason, there's any issues between you and another roleplayer while you're here, feel free to message any of the admins.
there's no post requirements, activity checks, etc. just be active when you need to be, leave when you want, (re-)join when you need too, no stress!

f.a.q.

do i need to know anything about coding before joining?
nope, not in the slightest! we accept all people from all walks of ~~life~~experience.
do i need to participate in any challenges or collabs?
same answer as before, nup! it's just a little fun exercise because sometimes we need to stretch our creativity a little bit :)
if there's something we want to learn and there's no tutorial for it, can we request it?
absolutely positutely!

how to join.

comment on the roleplay after favouriting with your desired character name; it can be your username, a nickname, etc.
when applying, use the following form:
username: self-explanatory
coding experience: none / low / med / high
do you have a gallery?: if so, please link (even if it's friends only, just gotta see that it exists)
what are you looking to get out of this experience?: nothing too fancy, just tell us if you're just looking to learn how to do a particular thing, if your goal is to open your own gallery, gain better design skills for irl, or maybe you're just here for the memes (as sporadic as they may be)

I could spend a few moments making this sound all official and 'descriptivey' but to be honest, i figure that getting straight to the point works best! especially considering this isn't a standard roleplay per say.

In The Works is a communal hub for coders of all levels of skill to hang out, share ideas, get feedback and provide tutorials for those who would like to learn a little more about HTML.

Every so often, challenges, collaborations and more will be posted so stay tuned!
