Saebom University was originally found in spring of 1977, before being built on the land of Seoul, South Korea. Shortly after, the school opened to the public and soon became known as one of South Korea's prestigious schools, as their goal is to give many opportunities for hard working individuals to help guide them further into their future, vocation and independence to work resplendenty in the world. However, just like all schools, there will always be an allusion of secrets within the campus such as who slept with who, who failed what and where did it take place. Word spreads around quickly abaft the gates of Saebom, where a cloak of mysteries and histories lies.

The roleplay was inspired by the k-drama True Beauty, a hit show following the life of a teenage girl trying to fit in whilst being twisted in a perplexed love triangle. With that being said, Saebom is predicated off in South Korea, one of Korea's largest univerisities founded in 1977. Henceforth, making Saebom partially new to the nation. Aside from being known for their large population, they cater a variety of majors for students from business, science, engineering, communcations and more. With the diversity and variety of offered majors, Saebom became a doted school for those who strive to achieve dreams.

general rules

favoriting and upvoting the roleplay is mandatory before reserving a character. otherwise, your application will not be accepted. we will only be accepting accounts 3+ months or older. furthermore, we will ask you to unprivate your account if necessary to verify the age of your account. if you're applying from another account, private message the head admin with your old username for approval.

reservations last 48 hours. you may ask for an extension of one day only before your faceclaim will be free for anyone else to apply. check the masterlist and banned faceclaims before reserving your desired muse of 19 years or older. we will not be accepting minors.

keep the ooc chat a safe space; this means no trigerring topics and certainly nothing that can make anyone uncomfortable. this is a semi-literate au, which means most of our writers and muns are fairly going to have ongoing threads. we would like to keep this a positive space for people, so keep in mind that we would like for people to encourage each other to write and plot, instead of bashing each other and themselves.

rated plots/nsfw must be consenual before proceeding to roleplay in private or rated rooms. make sure you are using the appropriate trigger and content warnings before making a post; should we notice a violence of this rule, you will be immediately warned and action will be taken.

there is a dating ban of fourteen days (2 weeks). get to know each other before smoochin. move-in couples, pregnancy and deaths are not allowed. however, if your character is a parent that is completely fine. just refrain from posting pictures of the npc children in the sns rooms. this is not an rp focused on children and we encourage our muns to develop their own characters before anything else.
activity rules

within the first fourteen (14) days of joining, you must have the minimum of one ongoing thread and set up a basic profile. this should be enough time for you. failure to complete this requirement will result in a 24 hour notice in pm's before being removed.

inactivity is set to fourteen (14) days. you will be given one (1) warning for 24 hours and failure to comply will result in being kicked and placed on a three (3) day greylist. during this time, your character will be available for anyone to play. summarize one important rule from each category.

activity checks will occur once in a while and be placed as an "exam" week in ic. on the following week, you will send your required number of threads to your advisor to ensure that you are active.

a semi-hiatus will last up to two (2) weeks + activity. a hiatus will last up to three (3) weeks. if you are on hiatus, you are not obligated to do the activity checks but once you return, you will not be allowed to ask for a hiatus upon the number of weeks requested. do not comment in the comment section or pm an admin for a hiatus. for more information, please check the hiatus room.

if leaving, please specifically pm your advisor/counselor by year. therefore, your character(s) will be deactivated. deactivated characters that have not been touched for five (5) or more months will be permanetly deleted off our list.

all faceclaims must be from different groups (ex. bts jungkook, exo kai, blackpink jennie). to change your character, check the cc request room for more information. do not pm an admin or comment in the comment section to cc or your request will be ignored.

you are allowed to tweak your faceclaim's age by three (3) years compared to their ooc age. faceclaim's around the age of 19 are not allowed to adjust their age lower. we will be checking the age of the faceclaim's first before acceptance.
