project: soulmate is based on the idea of fate; be it good or bad. upon signing up for P:S you will recieve a letter containing the details of your newly located soulmate and how you're linked.

our program is based on the idea that the world gets to make decisions for you - on the basis of soulmates. what you do with the information is up to you and your new partner - not all soulmates are lovers and not all soulmates are friends but some souls were simply made to meet.

it is stated in the rules but even though this rp is based on soulmates, we want to stress that it does not mean you're forced to be lovers or interact only with one person. the basis of soulmates is always mistaken as always being lovers.. you may end up with more than one name in your letter. you may end up with someone outside of your preferred orientation. you may end up with someone of a species that doesn't fit your own. your "match" may be someone you adore, someone you hate - a best friend, a lover, an enemy.

TWO p:s is based on the soulmate trope! so, you will be partnered at some point but don't fret - it doesn't have to be a forced romantic pairing! the soulmate trope is open to whatever you and your partner decide.
