❋ clearer explanation of the pearl idea. || so the deal with the pearl is, each mermaid and human are born with a unique pearl of their own. with every pearl, comes a match. if you're a mermaid, your matching pearl will be with a human; and vice versa. but! we won't reveal who is matched with who until one of them announces that they are in a relationship (whether they're with their matching pearl's holder or not). we don't reveal who is matched with who because this isn't really matchmaking. further explanation on the pearl is in the mermaid rules.
❋ are international celebs allowed? || yes, we are accepting international idols/actors/actresses. you're free to ask us to add them, but please comment their full names so we don't end up having two of the same characters.
❋ how are we going to know who's the one with the same pearl as yours? || you'll find out towards the end of your destined mermaid's journey to finding you. when they're already in a relationship with another person or they're in a relationship with you, you'll find out then.
❋ are numbers recycled? what if some one with your matching pearl number left the rp? || Well, we need to reassign numbers to everyone so don't worry about that! everyone is given a unique pearl number: you /cannot/ reveal your number until you announce that you're in a relationship in the couple room. It's not necessary that you have match numbers but if you do get a match we congratulate you. The idea is more about searching for your match via human-mermaid interactions but all relationships are welcome!
