@Xi Luhan [ I'm sorry for the late response. My mood kept on betraying me orz ]

Mina realized what she had said to the waiter and how she let her emotions get the best of her. She wanted to tell the waiter to come back and to ignore her complaint, but he was already halfway towards the restaurant’s kitchen. Figures of the staff can be seen through the small oval-shaped glass window. They were running around like crazy. Some even bump into one another, but decides to shrug it off and continue what they're doing. Mina swallowed nervously. She knew there was no turning back.

Time slows down for those who are panicking. The woman immediately thought of a possible escape from embarrassment. Sadly, all she could do was to face the consequence of her action. She stared at the cooked meat on her plate. Her appetite diminished rapidly after reading the message she received. Mina glanced at her phone placed on the table and felt her heart sank again. She just wanted to leave her payment on the table and board an elevator as fast as she can but she felt as if she was glued to her seat. After what felt like an hour, the waiter came back along with someone unfamiliar.

When she both saw them walking towards her direction, Mina felt heat creeping up her neck and nape up to the tip of her ears. She touched her earring before adjusting how she was seated. She knew that she had nothing to say in order to defend herself. Mina had already accepted her defeat and she was ready to surrender. This was the only form of evasion (kind of) she could come up with. Mina couldn’t deny the fact that the waiter and whoever he called would remember her because of this incident. Now, she can’t stop herself from thinking about the labels they might come up to (pure assumption) talk about her.

Although seemingly impossible, as soon as the waiter and his companion reached Mina’s table, she couldn’t deny that she felt stiffer than how she was earlier. The man introduced himself as the executive chef of the hotel’s restaurant before inspecting the steak Mina complained about. She felt as if her head and chest was about to burst. Mina was not sure if she was still breathing. Her mind was clouded and thought of nothing but a simple “thank you” and “sorry” to say. She just wanted to leave, hide under her bed covers and force herself to sleep, but as much as she want to, Mina should avoid embarrassing herself much further. Chef Xi (as Mina would like to address him) bowed again before hurrying back towards the kitchen. A disturbance—that’s how Mina sees herself at the moment.

After eating, she paid for her meal and forced herself to carry the spare bass even though it was quite a challenge to do so. Although her tummy was satisfied, her energy was nowhere to be found. When she tried carrying the case as if it was a backpack, it somehow managed to collide with Mina’s ear. Her earring fell and her ear stung. Mina kept on cursing over and over under her breath before placing the instrument and the phone in her hand on a vacant seat. She then crouched and searched for the jewelry. Thankfully, she found it and immediately wore it again. Mina stood up and grabbed the bass quickly, forgetting that she put her phone on that vacant seat as well. When she snatched the case, it pushed her phone off the seat causing it to fall and land under the table. It was out of sight since it had been concealed by the tablecloth. She was completely unaware of the situation thus, causing her to exit the restaurant without any second thoughts.

Before reaching the elevator, Mina halted and tightened her grip on the strap of the case. With her long hair concealing her face because she was looking down, she rushed out of the hotel. The rain was long had long gone, but Mina’s cheek were damp. She didn’t know when she started crying, but there were a lot of reasons why. The streetlights illuminated the path for her and she found herself back at the studio. She entered her second home and slammed the door. There, she cursed and blamed herself and found herself crying harder than before.

To say that falling asleep with your back against the wall was uncomfortable is an understatement. Mina felt sore, but managed to stand up. She tried to get her phone from the back pocket of her jeans but it wasn’t there. The flustered girl was now fully conscious and searched for her phone, but she failed. That’s when it struck her, she had left her phone in the restaurant. Mina glanced at the wall clock and found out that it was almost midnight. The restaurant was now closed but she needed to get her phone. While on her way back to the hotel, the only way she could think of was to sneak in. She knew she could get in trouble, but it was her property. It’s not as if she was going to steal silverware anyways.

@Xi Luhan "He can't do it, even if he tried." Minah was relieved to hear these words. But she still couldn't help worry. Because she exprerienced how cruel her dad can be, before. It was something she didn't want to face again. How her dad turn into this cruel man? How could he ruin her youthful times with caging her? It was a strategy of him to threathen her daughter to hurt her loved ones so that she will leave them. She had no one now. Why did he want her to be all alone?

She shook her thoughts off sighing slightly. Then she flashed a grin at the man, leaned over, dusting his shoulder off. "Sorry for dirtying your uniform." There were stains of her tears on his shoulder. "But-" she said. "You should go back to work now before your staff burn the whole kitchen." Laughing she remembered her overcooked steak.

@Bang Minah Luhan just kept stroking Minah's hair in an effort to calm her down as she buried her head in his shoulder. It was his fault that the woman in front of him was crying and yet she suffered the brunt of the blame. He felt guilty - he didn't like the feeling. It was the one thing that could keep him awake at night of it was never resolved. He sighed - this is gonna get more and more troublesome, he thought.

"It was my responsibility as an employee of this hotel - I couldn't allow even a single stain on the name of this hotel. I just did my duty." Luhan replied.

He snorted at the thought of the woman's father ruining his life. It would have been a serious threat to the past Luhan, where he had to work various jobs at odd hours to survive, but not to the present Luhan - during his years of servive to this hotel and its patrons, he had earned their respect, trust and most importantly, their loyalty. He had built up his social network, keeping close relations to those in seats of influence and power - Minah's family would not win if they wanted to ruin his life. Luhan was well prepared to face this sort of obstacle.

"He can't do it, even if he tried." Was his only response, the sides of his mouth tilting upwards to form a smirk as his eyes turned cold. He will never let anyone ruin his life and nor will his connections let them. He was too valuable of an asset and investment to lose.

@Xi Luhan Minah was surprised at Luhan’s sudden hug yet she her slim arms were wrapped around his body unconsciously. She buried her head in his shoulder, fighting back her tears. She had been very stupid and it was all because a damn vine. Her father was right at least in one thing, she was so reckless to act like that. Her father was someone who got everything he wanted. If he wanted her to come back to home, she knew she would be at home very soon.

“You should just have left me there till I woke up.” She finally said, in a very quiet voice. Her father’s men never kept secrets from him so his man probably told him about Luhan. “I’m sorry for putting you into such situation.” She continued as she pulled away from his embrace. “He thinks that we are dating. He won’t get off your tail.” She gulped down before continuing. “He can ruin one’s life in a few seconds.”

Actually her father wasn’t a bad father. But she didn’t know why he was so fond of her. Of course every father would want to protect their daughter but her father’s affection was just extreme. She shook her thoughts off, finding him looking at her. “But don’t worry, I won’t let him.”

@Bang Minah Luhan sighed internally when he noticed that Minah refused to look at him. Did she not know that he does not care for what she liked to call, "embarrassing herself'? He could only stand there in silence as the woman remained in her crouching position.

When the elevator stopped at their desired floor, Luhan quickened his pace to follow the rampaging woman into her room, only to find her screaming at the man in a suit to get out of her room. The man looked surprised but nonetheless left immediately on her orders, but not before glancing at the executive chef. Luhan, of course, noticed his watchful gaze and sighed internally - 'this has something to do with me, doesn't it,' he thought, massaging the temples of his head when he felt another round of headache coming.

"I'm not going anywhere." was the first sentence she said to Luhan since her father had arrived at the hotel. He looked at her through calm eyes, watching her movements carefully.

"He's trying to get me back home," She said as she sat on her bed, wiping tears off her face with her sleeve. "But I won't."

"I see." was what he said as he padded over to her quietly and stopped in front of her. He lowered himself to her eyes level and whispered,

"This is about last night, wasn't it?"

Her father probably had his men watching Minah's every move, so he probably thought that she was dating him or something like that. He heaved a sigh, standing up to his full height before gently pulling the woman closer to him for a hug, her head on his torso as he gently d her hair in absolute silence.

@Xi Luhan Minah kept her crouching down position. Even though she knew he was looking at her, she avoided looking at him. She was again, for twice, embarrassing herself in front of him, crying like a crybaby. She barged into her room when she got out of the elevator. “Get out!” She yelled at the man gathering her things around, she could feel the warm tears rolling down on her cheeks. The man looked surprised but left immediately, bowing slightly at her. And she suddenly felt guilty for yelling at him.

“I am not going anywhere.” She mumbled, while placing her things back. She couldn’t do it though. Her hands were trembling and she almost broke her favorite mirror. Giving up, she sat on the bed, eyed Luhan after wiping her tears off with her sleeve. “He is trying to get me back home.” She said softly. “But I won’t.”

@Bang Minah Luhan watched the scene play out in front of him with curiosity shinning in his eyes. Minah locked eyes with him for a moment, before turning away to look at the man he now knew as her father. The older man turned to his side to talked to the man in a suit, before turning back to his daughter as the other man scurried away to who knows where.

Luhan's eyes followed the scurrying figure of the suited man before turning back to the father-daughter scene, only to see the older walk away as the younger watched her father's back figure. Minah glanced at him once more, before following her father into their black limousine parked in front of the hotel building.

'I don't know what all of this is about, but I have a feeling it's not gonna end well,' Luhan thought to himself, crossing his arms across his chest as a frown spread across his face. It was as if he was psychic, because not long after he thought to himself, Minah emerged out of the limousine, sobbing as she ran into the hotel building. He sighed and wondered what could have happened between the father and daughter to cause the younger to react like that. Luhan straightened his posture and followed Minah into the elevator, thinking that he should at least comfort her for old times' sake.

He stood in silence as he watched Minah cautiously, his body tense and ready to act if the young woman did something stupid.

@Xi Luhan "Why are you here?" said Minah as she faked a smile. She knew she wouldn’t get an answer to her question though. Her father looked angry yet calm and it was why he looked scary. Something must be happening, she thought. She looked around, seeing the people watching them, trying to figure out what was happening. She saw Luhan too. He was looking at her, as confused as others. She remembered never talking to him about her family.

“Give me your key .” said her father, firmly. His stare was still on her daughter, when he took the key she was holding out. “Get her luggage ready.” He said to the man beside himself. Minah knew who was it. He was her father’s right hand and he was actually a really nice man. The man flashed an apologizing look at Minah before heading off to complete his order. “Why” said Minah, her eyes were full of confusion. “What’s happening?”

“You’re coming back to home.” Those words went down like a bomb for Minah. She didn’t want to go back to home, a cage for her to be honest. “No. I am not.” She said firmly as her face turned into an angry face from a confused one. “Folow me.” He was still so calm while Minah’s face was already red from anger. “We will talk.” With that he walked out of the hotel, getting into the black limousine waiting in front of the building. Minah shot a last glance at Luhan before following her father.

“How reckless can you be to drink so much that you passed out?!” He started yelling as soon as his daughter was in the car. “And you are having affair with man? Are you stupid Minah? Haven’t you learned your lesson yet? How can you let a man step into your room?!” She stared at him with teary eyes as he attacked her with his loud questions. “I am staying here!” She yelled back. “And what if I am having an affair with someone? Why do you care? It’s my life, you may own everything but you can’t own my life.” She dragged herself out of the car; running towards the building. She was still sobbing when she went into the building but she didn’t even cared. She got into the elevator and pressed the button aggressively, crouching down later.

@Bang Minah Luhan walked with paced steps to the staff dorms, back to his own to room to take a refreshing shower and get out of his clothes that were already starting to smell. The sides of his mouth tilted up to form a slight smirk when he thought of Minah hiding from him under her covers, before returning to its expressionless state. When he got to his room, he immediately took off his clothes and stepped into the shower that rained warmth water on him when he turned it on. He let out a contented sigh at the pleasant feeling of the warm water gliding on his porcelain skin, his muscles relaxing under the warm water. The moment of relaxation in the shower was short-lived, however, when he remembered that he had to go to work soon. With that in mind, he cut his shower time short as he did everything he needed to do at a fast speed, getting out of the bathroom in record time.

Luhan left his room wearing a crisp white uniform. He headed towards the elevator and entered it, heading towards the first floor where his restaurant was located. When the elevator doors opened with a loud 'ding', he stepped out of the elevator, only to be greeted with a surprising sight. He glanced up at the guests' elevator and saw Minah's face, as pale as fresh snow. He looked at the man she was staring at - his stance clearly showed his authority as well as his anger, which made sense as to why the other guests did not approach the elevator. Luhan's eyes widened slightly as he read her moving lips, finally knowing who the man in front of her was.

Her lips moved to form a single word.

'Dad'.

@Xi Luhan "Stupid." said Minah after hearing him closing the door. "Stupid stupid stupid." She was mumbling nonstop while rolling on the bed like crazy. Then, of course, she found herself on the floor. She was rolled in blankets like a kimbap. Letting out a fake cry, she kicked the blankets trying to save herself.

That morning Minah didn't have breakfast. The bad feeling in her stomach was already enough. Instead she kept the curtains closed, the air conditioner on, watching her favorite drama. She skipped the school too, since she was still hangover. It wasn't like they could scold Minah for not attending classes.

Minah left her room to get something to eat. She was wearing her most casual clothes and she didn't even dare making her hair. She was still a bit dizzy both because the remaining alcohol in her body and her hunger. When she got into the elevator, a pink tint flashed on her checks, remembering the last night. She had embarrassed herself in front of the guests and the staff and Luhan, too. She glared at the corner she passed out last night; kicking the wall.

But when she got out of the elevator she immediately realized there was something much more important. "Dad..." she mumbled; seeing the angry looked man.

@Kwon Mina It was a busy day, as per usual, for Luhan and his staff in the restaurant. Orders were flooding in and dishes were being served as the kitchen staff continued to move their hands and stay on their feet to cook the dishes in break neck speed without messing anything up. A smile was present on Luhan's sweaty face as he continued creating the most wonderful smelling dish that filled the air of the whole restaurant, causing the mouths of everyone to water.

Lunch hour was now officially over as the last customer of the hour left the restaurant will a full belly and a satisfied expression. The kitchen staff could almost drop to the ground from the combination of exhaustion and hunger if not for the mouth-watering smell coming from Luhan's station. The said chef was now cooking spicy seafood fried rice with an after taste of lemon, his very own creation that was very popular with the regular patrons of the restaurant. The dish he was cooking was enough to feed every one of the currently salivating restaurant staff. When the dish was served, the staff jumped at it with spoons like starving wolves, making Luhan laugh out loud at their behaviour as he shook his head at them. He took out his own lunch box of kimchi fried rice that he had prepared earlier on and dug in, realising his own hunger as he breathed in the tantalising smell of the fried rice.

Their short happiness they received during their lunch break was short-lived as they immediately resumed their positions when the restaurant was once again open to the public. The first few hours went by as per usual, but the restaurant was soon greeted with a woman semi-drenched woman carrying a gigantic suitcase. The woman as well as her case was met with odd looks from not only other customers but also the staff. The customers eventually decided to ignore her considering it was none of their business.

A waiter immediately went over to her table and handed her a menu, to which she quickly skimmed through before giving the waiter her order, which was a medium rare steak and a cool glass of refreshing lemonade. When her order finally arrived, the waiter observed that she held an expression of shock over her face.

"Enjoy your meal, Ma'am," was all that he said, although he was curious to know what cause the woman to be so shocked that she was ignoring the mouth-watering aroma coming from the steak dish. He left her table only to be called back to her table as soon as she cut through her steak. The woman stated that there was a problem with her steak, showing him the colour of the meat inside. He personally thought that it looked normal to him, but who was he to say for sure? He was no meat expert. So, in order to solve this problem as efficiently as possible, the waiter called for Luhan, who personally made the dish.

Luhan was surprised to hear that a customer had a problem with his food, which doesn't happen - ever. Well, unless you count the sabotage attempts. He came out of his kitchen, wiping the sweat of his face to make himself look as presentable as possible. He headed over to the table where the waiter told him of the problem, pointing towards the steak.

Luhan raised an eyebrow at the other male, looking at the steak dish. Sighing internally, he decided to be polite and introduce himself first before inspecting the dish.

"Hello, Ma'am - My name is Xi Luhan and I am the executive chef of this restaurant," He said, bowing 90 degrees.

"You mentioned that there was a problem with your steak - if you don't mind, I would like to inspect it."

He used a spare fork and knife to push the meat apart, inspecting the colour.

"Ma'am, there is no problem with the steak - the colour is different from other steaks that are cooked medium rare as you are eating in my restaurant. I use a different method to cook the meat," Luhan explained, keeping as pleasant expression as he tried his best to calm down the woman seated behind the table in front of him.

@Bang Minah The sun had not even risen up on the horizon when Luhan was woken up from his deep slumber by a high-pitched scream that had him putting his hands over his ears. He rubbed his eyes and grumbled incomprehensible words and sentences under his breath, giving Minah a pointed look. The woman who hid under the covers of her bed had him facepalming himself and made him think of his life choices.

"Who do you think carried you to your room when you were wasted last night, huh?" He asked sarcastically, trying to rub the sleep out of his system. He looked in the direction of the wall clock and groaned when he saw that it was already 5.30am.

"_____, work is starting soon," he mumbled, standing up on his feet as he headed towards the door of the room.

"Hangover medicine or if you prefer, hangover soup, can be order via room service - drink water, try not to puke on the carpeting because that would be a _____ to clean up." was his last words to her as he headed out of the door and to his own room to clean up nicely - he couldn't exactly show up to work in yesterday's clothing, now could he?

@Xi Luhan If there’s one thing Kwon Mina crucially needed, it was leisure time. It was frightening that in the span of just a few days, a lot of things went completely wrong. Mina thought that when once she arrives at this spectacular hotel, she would finally be able to rid herself of all her problems. Those thoughts remained as mere speculations. Problems poured down on Mina. Now she’s drenched and shivering, both metaphorically and literally.

Mina left the hotel with nothing but their band’s studio keys. She had its ring on her index finger so that she can play with it by making it spin. Their studio was only a couple of blocks away from Seoul Plaza so, she decided to just use her own feet and legs to transport herself towards her destination. When she arrived at their studio, she immediately unlocked the door then locked it again before proceeding to a room where she could find their spare bass.

It was indeed unfortunate that the hotel staff might’ve misplaced her personalized bass named “Oliver” (which was also an 18th birthday gift from her parents). The hotel staff promised that they would look for her missing instrument and Mina trusts their words. If they don’t, she would absolutely charge them. The bassist was sure that she asked the employees to bring it to her room along with her luggage, but it has been 2 days and she still hadn’t seen her so-called baby.

While she was tuning the bass, Mina was unaware that rain had been falling down hard for a couple of minutes or so already. Besides from instruments (and garbage), the studio was practically empty since they just rented it a couple of weeks ago. Mina opened door and all she could do was to curse under her breath. There were no vehicles around which was odd. The musician couldn’t risk having the spare bass soaked so she decided to run while protecting the spare bass (even though it was in its case, droplets of rain may still seep through).

When she arrived at the hotel, Mina immediately went to the nearest comfort room to at least try to dry herself a bit. She succeeded (kind of) and the bass was safe and so she left the restroom, sniffling and occasionally sneezing. She was about to board an elevator when her stomach growled. Mina only ate breakfast and it was already past 5PM. The girl then took a sharp turn towards the restaurant, her spare bass’ keeping her company.

She sat on the first vacant seat she could find and a waiter immediately entertained her. He handed her the menu before throwing odd looks at the gigantic case that was seated next to the guest. It was none of his business so he decided to just shrug it off and proceeded to orient Mina with what they have. In the end, the waiter scribbled the young lady’s order which was a medium rare steak and a lemonade.

Mina fumbled with her phone while waiting. While she was playing a game, she was notified that she received a text. She immediately minimized what she was playing before reading the message. Even though her meal was finally served, Mina was still in the state of shock. “Enjoy your meal, Ma’am,” the waiter said. How could Mina enjoy her meal after what she had read?

With shaky hands and a foul mood, she proceeded to eat her steak. Before she could even slice it generously, she noticed that the color of the meat was peculiar. Her mind was clouded because she was worrying so she didn’t even thought that she wasn’t eating in the same place where she usually gets her steak from. There was nothing wrong with her steak, to be honest. The thing that was wrong was the news she had received and it triggered the domino effect. Mina called for a waiter and stated her problem as calm as she could but her nerves betrayed her. In the end, the only thing the waiter could think of was to call their superior.

@Xi Luhan It was 5:26 when Minah woke up. The sun hadn't risen yet but she was all awake. All she felt was a terrible headache. She rubbed her eyes sleepily before opening them. The room was black that's why she leaned over to turn on the bed lamp. But she was terrified at what she saw. She had her hands all black. And it was because of her mascara. That was when she realized that she actually slept with her make up and dress on.

She had to clean up as soon as possible because she knew that she looked like a zombie. A real one. Just as she sat up with those thoughts on her mind she saw something more terrifying, a man sitting -actually sleeping- on the bedside chair. She unconsciously let out a scream with her pitched voice; hiding under the blanket. When she pulled the blanket down, she saw a man dumbfounded by her sudden scream and he looked sleepy too. He wasn't actually any man he was Luhan. When Luhan turned her head to make an eye contact with her she hid herself under the blanket again. She looked like a mess and she didn't want him to see her like this. "Wh-why are you here?" said Minah, stuttering.

@Bang Minah The last customer had finally finished his meal and Luhan sent him off with a polite smile. He headed back into the kitchen, where all the staff waited for him in absolute silence. His eyes were cold when the words came out of his mouth.

"This incident will never happen again. The next one who disregards my orders will be fired immediately." All of the staff nodded and begun cleaning up their stations, the female employee cleaning up Luhan's in order to make up for her mistake. He heaved a tired sigh and headed out of the restaurant, where he saw a crowd forming in front of an elevator. He raised an eyebrow an the common scene.

'What in the world is happening now?' he thought as he made way to the front of the crowd. The people gave him easy access to the front of the crowd as they knew who he was and allowed him to see what all the commotion was about.

He was shocked to see Minah unconscious in the elevator, most probably sleeping away the alcohol in her system. He let out a loud sigh and went into the elevator, picking up the grown woman before apologising to the crown of guests in front of the elevator.

"I need you to tell me what room number this woman is staying in, her name is Bang Minah," He said to the receprionist at the counter, lifting Minah up higher so the woman in front of the counter can identify ger face. He got the room number and keys quickly enough and turned to leave, but not before saying something to the employee.

"Next time, I expect a faster response a such situations - I don't think it's exactly my job to be taking care of the guests in this manner." He said, his icy gaze piercing through the soul of the poor employee, who seemed like she was going to faint at any moment. Luhan his heels and went to the elevator with Minah in his arms, waiting patiently for the elevator to arrive.

Once it did, he stepped inside, apologising to the guests as he was taking up to much space by carrying another person bridal style. He quickly exited the elevator when it arrived at the floor the room of the woman in his arms was located at. He put her down gently on the floor, taking out the hotel key to her room and opening her door. He held the door open with one foot as he picked up the limp body of Minah into the room and onto her bed. He removed her shoes and tucked her in nicely, slipping into a small chair by her bedside, falling asleep in a matter of seconds.

@Xi Luhan "It is okay." was the only thing Minah said to the female staff. "You may go now." She looked like she didn't care anymore and she didn't too, after hearing his name. Xi Luhan, it was definitely him. She looked at the good looking plate. Before start to eat she called a waitor, ordering some vine. If her father knew her drinking some alcoholic beverage he would gone crazy. She laughed at the thought.

After stuffing the last piece of meat into , she stood up. She didn't know if it was because of her tipsiness, but the meat literally felt like heaven. Trying so hard to walk properly, she left the restaurant hall. She no longer had thoughts of him and how he ignored her, before. It was like a dream and she loved this feeling so much. She stopped walking in front of the elevator, pressing the button. "Everything would be great if I didn't have this headache." She talked to herself; got into the elevator, watching the doors closing. "Which floor my room was?" said she, following a laugh. That's why she was not allowed to get drunk. She had to be in an awake state of mind everytime to prevent herself getting dumber. Giving up remembering her floor number, she pressed a random number and crouched down. Even though she tried hard to not, she was already asleep in two minutes; having her head rested on her knees.

@Bang Minah She looked at him with confusion in her eyes - he could see the question in her head right now; "Isn't he...?"

"I like my meat undercooked," was all that she muttered before heading back to her table. The kitchen was still filled with silence as the chef's neutral gaze transformed into a glare.

"I know I didn't check a steak dish a few minutes ago. The person who sent the dish out without my permission reports to me - the rest go back to your staion and do your work." Was all that he said before turning his back and heading back to his own station to resume his cooking.

Shuffling of feet could be heard once more and the kitchen returned to its busy state. The employee who sent out the dish wriggled uncomfortable in her place when her co-workers sent her pointed looks, telling her to report to the chef - her face was pale and her hands were clammy. She dragged herself to Luhan's station and meekly called him. He turned around.

"I'm assuming that you're the one that sent out the dish," He said, wiping his hands off. "Do you think that my final checks are a joke? That you can do my job? Because your actions are telling me that right now." Sharp words were fired at the poor employee, the chef looking at her as he crossed his arms across his chest. He raised a hand to the temples of his forehead and massaged it when she shook her head fervently to indicate a 'no, she did not think as such'.

"Whatever." was the final word he said to her as he went to get a cut of meat to cook another steak dish; it would be unbecoming of his restaurant if he let a customer eat something she doesn't like. His skillful hands worked with fervor as he worked on the meat as fast as he could while maintain his usual precision. A few minutes passed and the meat was put in a prepared frying pan, being cooked underneath the watchful eye of Xi Luhan. The rest of the kitchen staff wanted to stop and watch their executive chef cook, but they know that he'll just order them to do their work instead - so they wrenched their eyes away from him and tried as hard as they could to focus on their own work.

The meat was cooked to rare and was plated nicely onto a wooden glazed-over dish. He passed it onto the waitor that lead the lady into the kitchen ordered the female employee to follow the waitor, to apologise to the customer.

She gulped and nodded, not wanting to upset the chef even more. They headed out and went to Minah's table.

"Chef Xi Luhan sends out his sincerest apology for not preparing the dish the way the miss prefers - he has prepared another dish as a token of his apology, and has said that today's meal will be free of charge, to make up for the mistake he made." The waitor said, placing the newly made dish on her table.

"I'm so sorry! It was my fault, I didn't know the way you preferred your meat and cooked it to well-cooked - I'm so sorry!" The female employee gave Minah a 90 degree bow and hung her head low as she stood up straight, feeling guilty for commiting such a mistake.

@Xi Luhan Minah looked at the man in confusion? Didn't he recognise her? Of course he wouldn't. Perphaps her memories made fun of her, making her confusing the man as "him."

"I like my meat undercooked." She mumbled before walking towards the door, taking her leave. It was funny what she planned to say and what she managed to say in conclusion. She couldn't even look at him in the eyes. She was still pouting when she turned back to her table. She stuffed the meat into even though she wasn't planning to eat it, ignoring how funny she would be looking right now. She stared, still confusion in her eyes.

@Bang Minah Today was an exeptionally busy day for Luhan - the restaurant had a larger number of patrons today compared to any other day and Luhan was working as hard as he could to make sure every one of the dishes being served heads out with nothing on the plate but perfection. While he was busy checking the dishes in one corner of his kitchen, a considerate employee - seeing that her chef was extremely busy - decided to skip the final check of her dish and placed the dish on a tray, where a waitor took it and served it to a regular patron of the restaurant.

Luhan was enjoying his final moments of peace before realising that it was too quiet - his kitchen was never quiet, unless there was something going on. With that in mind, he turned around to see a waitor standing up staight with his head hung low, leading a woman up to him. Recognision could be seen in his eyes, but his body never did anything to show it - he looked at her with neutral eyes as he asked her a question.

"Is there a problem with your food, miss?"

@Xi Luhan Minah was sitting on her usual table in the restaurant, waiting for the food she had ordered. She looked around. The staff were now familiar to her since she had been staying here for a long time. She was lucky that her father let her live here on the last year of her university life. It wasn't like living on your own but she was even grateful for this. She knew that her father wanted her to be treated like a princess and she was treated like one here.

"Here is your order, Miss Minah" said the familiar waiter, placing the plate on her table, leaving afterwards. Minah ordered steak again, this night. She picked her knife up; to cut steak into pieces. But the meat was stiff. She suddenly got frustrated; standing up abruptly. Didn't they know how she liked her steak, after all the time? She walked towards the waiter, her heart was beating very fast and her face was red because of anger. The waiter leaded her to their executive chef in silence. Just as she opened to say something, she saw the chef. And her heart was still beating fast. Not because of the anger, this time. It was him.
