If so, we encourage you to join the welcome committee! The welcome committee is a large group of university students that dedicate their free time to welcome new students, show them around campus, help them move in to their dorms, and make sure they are settled and comfortable, and they know exactly where all of the classes, halls, and hangouts around campus are. If you are part of the welcome committee, you will approach new students nicely, maybe bringing gift baskets or welcome presents crafted by the committee, and offer them your help with whatever they need to get settled in.

Nothing happens on campus that they don't know about, or find out about, and they're always there to spill the beans on the best stories. Anything from a new relationship to the new student council members, the news crew will keep everyone updated on what's new at the university.

Members of the pep squad try to get students involved in sports and clubs, do volunteer work, and offer a shoulder to cry on or an open pair of ears for students that may be having a tough time or dealing with something personal. To be part of the pep squad, you will need to be upbeat, happy, friendly, caring, and ready to work for the better of the school!
