Hoseok nodded along as Taemin continued to talk, only looking up when he realised he was speaking in a quieter tone. The waiter was leaning over while Taemin pointed at something on the menu he couldn't see, listening attentively while quickly jotting down the omega's orders. Nodding again, he replied, "Yeah, iced tea sounds nice!". He gave the other a soft beam in response to his smile, shifting slightly in his seat.
@α❅jung hoseok Taemin chuckled at the alphas words. It was true, no one in their right mind would refuse a free meal. Hearing Hoseok say he'd be fine with whatever he ordered had Taemin smiling wide. "Hmm..okay! Then we'll go with my second favorite dish here. But you don't get to know until it arrives." With that Taemin signaled for their waiter to come, indulging him in some small talk before placing their order. He wanted to other to have a nice meal so spicy noodles seemed like a good choice. The alphas question had Taemin turning to give him his attention for a moment. "I usually just get iced tea, would you be okay with that?" His head tilted a bit as he watched the other still scanning through the menu. He found it slightly funny that the male was so unsure of what to order, making a small smile appear on his lips.
@Ω☣lee taemin "In that case, I'm not refusing a free meal," Hoseok chirped. Through the door he was led, to a cozy little seat in the corner of the shop. He let out a soft whistle, visibly impressed by the place. "It's my first time here, so I'll take anything you recommend," he said, shaking his head but instinctively reaching out to take the menu anyway. He flipped to the pages with the beverages to offer. "What would you like to drink?" he asked, not lifting his eyes from the menu. He honestly could not decide, so maybe asking Taemin would give him an idea.
@α❅jung hoseok Taemin rolled his eyes as he pulled Hoseok down the street and into the small noodle shop. "Yes I do, I was really rude so let me make up for it. I'm not letting you refuse." Taemin chuckled a bit as he lead the male to his favorite spot in the shop. The table he sat at was closer to the back and was in front of a window that had n amazing view od the part. It relaxed the omega so he had claimed the seat as his. "I really enjoy the black bean but you don't have to get it. Another good thing is the spicy noodles and dumpling-- I should just let you look at the menu." The omega smiled as he passed Hoseok a menu to look at. He hoped the male would like the place just as much as he did.
@Ω☣lee taemin "I'm sold already, Taemin. Take me there, at the speed of light!" he chirped in delight, picking up his pace. "You don't have to do that..." His voice trailed off as soon as he caught the firm determination that glowed in the omega's eyes. It really wasn't necessary for the other to treat him to noodles, talking to him had more than made up for what happened the previous day. Then again, he didn't have much say in the matter, given how adamant Taemin was being about it. He wasn't about to start a debate on why he should pay for his own meal. Focusing on what he was about to eat later on seemed like a better choice.
@α❅jung hoseok The minute Hoseok appeared next to him ready to go, Taemin grabbed his hand and lead him down the hallway at a quick pace. "I know you'll like this place, it's nice and cozy and the food is amazing. I'm not sure how I came across it but I go there a lot now and it's just so good." His words came out quick as he still felt excitement rushing through him. Once they were out the school doors and through the courtyard, the omega slowed his pace a bit and turned to Hoseok. "This'll be my treat okay? My way of apologizing for basically ignoring you." Taemin nodded his head as he spoke, giving the other a look letting him know not to argue with him since he wasn't going to change his mind. Buying noodles was the least he could do and he wanted to completely make up for his rudeness the previous day.
@Ω☣lee taemin The clock's ticking became an irritating rhythm that seemed to slow down as time passed. Nearly about to fuse with the table, he sat up straight with a wide grin that mirrored the omega's when the bell rang. They could finally leave. "Too long indeed!" he echoed Taemin's words, excited to get some food. He picked up his messenger bag and quickly shuffled his way over to the door. "Lead the way," he nudged his head to the side, signalling to the other to start walking.
@α❅jung hoseok Taemin chuckled and gave a small shrug knowing the alpha was right. His excitement did seem to rub off on people and he found it quite amusing. Once he had the beakers cleaned the omega moved on to wipe down their area before the other returned to him. "Black bean! I'm craving Jjajangmyeon right now, there's a nice little shop down the street so it won't take that long." Taemin looked at Hoseok with a wide smile that only got wider as the bell started ringing to signal the end of class. "Let's go! I've waited too long." The omega rushed to grab his backpack and stood next to the door waiting for the alpha to follow his actions.
@Ω☣lee taemin Hoseok buried his face in his hands. "No thanks to you Taemin," he playfully grumbled, giving the other a pout. It did not last long however, as he took in the other's suggestion. "Better than sitting around, I guess. Let's do this!" Immediately he started pouring the contents of the test tubes away and washing them out. He was anxious to leave as soon as possible, and his stomach was already calling for help. The moment they were done, he took their papers to the front and submitted them to the teacher before returning to Taemin. "What noodles are we having? Dumpling noodles, roasted duck noodles... I don't know. You choose, maybe?"
@jung hoseok "But it's too long." Taemin looked to the clock once more and sighed as the time felt it was moving slower. The omega pushed away his finished work and started to tap his pencil to pass some time. Hoseok groaning had Taemin looking at him quickly, a small smile on his lips. "See, you're ready to go too! Let's just clean up, class should be over once we're done!" Taemin jumped up to clean their lab area. Cleaning seemed like a good thing to do, especially since it meant that if they got it done they wouldn't have to stay after. A moment later he looked to Hoseok with wide happy eyes. "Noodles!"
@lee taemin Hoseok chuckled quietly and shook his head, scribbling random notes on his papers. "Because it's scheduled to end at a specific time?" he responded without a second thought, "Don't worry we'll get out of here soon enough, let's just finish this experiment." He poked one of the test tubes absentmindedly, and watched some of the bubbles rise to the top and pop. The more excited Taemin got, the more Hoseok did as well. Soon enough, he was glancing back and forth between the clock and the set up in front of them. "Come on!" he groaned, slumping against his table.
@jung hoseok The other shushing him was ignored as Taemin continued to work with happiness coursing through his body. He loved making friends and he couldn't contain hos excitement at times. His interest for the experiment did falter though. The omega kept on working efficiently while he waited for the bell to ring. Every now and then he looked at the clock, and then to the alpha before back to the worksheet. "..mmm I just want to leave now, why can't class just end.." Taemin spoke to no one in general as he was writing down the change in the liquid and making his conclusion. All he wanted was to leave, and this time it was for a good reason.
@lee taemin "Mhmm, we'll do that!" he nodded in agreement. Upon realising that they were being too loud, Hoseok gently shushed his partner. Taemin's outburst of excitement was amusing and infectious, making the alpha knock his heels together repeatedly under the table in an effort to contain his own excitement. He looked at his classmates and bowed his head in apology. He knew that Taemin didn't mean to be too loud, but then again, they were in class. He followed along and got back into the rhythm of doing the experiment. He fascinated himself with the colour changes of the solutions, but nearly forgot to write the observations on the worksheet. This was the exact reason why he needed someone working with him on the same assignment.
@jung hoseok A smile broke out on Taemins face and he exclaimed with happiness. "Yes! Okay, hmm how about we go out to eat? Does that sound good?" The irritated glares that his outburst caused were ignored as Taemin continued to smile at the alpha. He wasn't entirely sure he would agree so it made him feel good knowing the younger male didn't hold a grudge. Taemins eyes flickered to the experiment and he let out a soft chuckle. "Oh we have to finish this first! Let's get this done." After that the omega started to work quickly, yet thoroughly to get their lab finished.
@lee taemin Hoseok could feel himself melting in the other's gaze. The puppy eye look did suit Taemin, after all, especially with his soft features. Initially he wanted to refuse, not seeing the need for the omega to do such as thing, but seeing those pleading eyes, he had to change his mind. He had a soft spot for cute things, and despite the fact that his partner was technically a grown man, he couldn't help it. "Alright, alright, where are we going?" he chuckled, soft enough so that the teacher wouldn't hear.
@jung hoseok Taemin watched silently as the alpha thought, then after a moment a smile broke out on his lips. "Good, because we have plans-- I just want to make up for yesterday, let me take you out hmm?" The omega gave his best puppy eyes as he waited for a response. He wasn't the type to ignore someone and possibly have them be on bad terms, the omega hated when he started off wrong with people. Hoseok seemed like a genuinely good person as far as he knew and he didn't want to miss out on the opportunity to make a new friend. He lived surrounding himself with people so ridding Hoseoks minds of any negative thoughts of him was Taemins top priority at the moment.
@lee taemin Hoseok poured the sample into the test tubes as careful as possible while he listened, not wanting to spill anything. "After this?" he echoed absentmindedly, setting the tubes down onto the stand as he ran through the day's plans in his head. "Nothing much, actually. Why?" He turned to Taemin, a small smile on his lips. It was a rhetorical question, because no one would simply just ask what they would be doing later in the day. The omega actually seemed to have good intentions, so he wasn't too worried.
@jung hoseok "Great! Let's get to work," Taemin gave a small grin to the alphas excitement and started to look at the instruction sheet. He listened to Hoseok carefully as he spoke, not wanting the other to think he was back to his bad mood. The omega watched as he worked and chuckled to himself. Just the other day he was ignoring the kid and he seemed nice so far. Deciding to forget about the experiment for a moment, Taemin looked towards the alpha with curious eyes. "Hey..what are you doing after this?" He wanted to make up for being an before so taking the other out seemed fitting for a proper apology.
@lee taemin "Sounds better than anything else!" Hoseok nodded excitedly. He had been waiting to do this experiment since yesterday but due to time constraint, it was not possible. He gave the worksheet a final look-over, before glancing at Taemin, ensuring that he was talking to the same person. After all, the omega was completely different from how he was the day before. "So you've already gotten the supplies, it says here we need 5 cubic centimetres of the sample in test tubes A and B..." he thought aloud, picking out the required items.
@jung hoseok Taemin grinned at the other not holding a grudge and gave his hand a squeeze before letting go. "I do too. Now, let's finish this project so we can have some fun." The omega smiled before moving over ti their workstation and getting out the last bit of supplies needed to finish their work. He turned to Hoseok and gave the male a smile before speaking to him. "So we're done with all the book work, we just need to conduct one last experiment. Does that sound good?" Taemin tilted his head slightly as he looked towards the alpha.
@lee taemin Hoseok got through the next day somehow, bleary-eyed and all. He could feel his mind become a ball of fluffy cotton candy as he sat through his classes, up until science. He was surprised to see the omega smiling, as he had been half-expecting to see him with a poker face like yesterday. Nodding, he smiled back and shook his hand firmly. "I'm Jung Hoseok! I look forward to having fun in our classes together," he replied, as bright as ever, in spite of his tiredness. Some part of him was relieved that he could smooth things over with his lab partner, and another part was looking forward to becoming friends with him.
@jung hoseok Once Taemin got home he slept for the remainder of the day, and on throughout the night until he had to get up for school. Thankfully the day went better than the one before so by tye time he arrived to science, he was back to his old self. He walked into the class with a smile and sat at his usual seat. H waited until they were all told yo get back into their groups before walking over to Hoseok and apologizing. "Hey, I'm sorry about yesterday. Let's just start over, okay?" He gave the male a small smile while holding out his hand. "Hi, I'm Lee Taemin. It's nice to be working with you." The omega hoped he hadn't offended the male in any way though if he did, he wouldn't have been surprised. There were times when he got in bad moods and he couldn't help the way he reacted to others.
@lee taemin A small pat on the shoulder was all he needed to reassure himself that everything was fine. A small smile made its way back onto his lips. As he turned back, a flask slipped out of his hands, but he managed to catch it. Thankfully. Breaking lab apparatus was a crime that he definitely would not want to commit, not saying that he would break the laws or anything. After he was done settling the items, he dried his hands on his pants and slung his messenger bag across his forehead as he walked out of the lab. He headed for the cafeteria for some snacks before returning home.
@jung hoseok Taemin carefully cleaned some of the containers even though they didn't use it yet and stacked them neatly. He was about to move on to cleaning the cylinders when he heard Hoseoks voice. He glanced at him for a moment before nodding as a thanks. "..okay.." After replying he moved to gather his things. Once he had all of his books in his bag he made his way back to Hoseok, giving his shoulder a soft pat before exiting the room. He walked quickly down the hall towards the exit of the building knowing after he got some rest he would be back to his old self.
@lee taemin A horde of complaints made their way through Hoseok's mind as he realised there was no time left to continue the experiments. He briefly knocked his head on the table before attempting to complete the rest of his assignment. A tap on his shoulder caused him to jump, and a sigh of relief left his lips as he realised it was his lab partner. He sat up straight while the other spoke, and took his papers to the teacher's desk before rushing back to their workstation. "That's alright, I'll clean these up," he waved his hand, trying to tell the omega that it was fine for him to leave. Hoseok did so in the hopes that doing something for Taemin would cancel out whatever sins he had committed against him. He set to cleaning the flasks and test tubes quietly.
@jung hoseok Taemin didn't spare the alpha a glance as he quickly wrote down what he already knew on the sheet. Any moment the bell would be ringing to signal the end of class and he was more than ready to leave. They would apparently have to finish the rest of the experiment next class but he was okay with that. Once he noticed there was a few minutes left he gathered the papers he finished and moved next to Hoseok for a moment. He lightly tapped the others shoulder to get his attention before speaking. "..class is almost up, I'll clean up the lab but turn these in." He handed his completed papers to the alpha and moved to clean up the rest of the supplies before they had to leave. There was no way he was staying after to clean their workstation when he could be on his way home.
@lee taemin Hoseok noticed after a while that Taemin kept his eyes trained on either the clock or the experiment, barely making any form of contact with him. The moment Taemin looked at him with an unimpressed expression, Hoseok shrunk back into his seat, muttering a quiet 'Okay' under his breath. It was they first time they had met and Taemin had already disliked him. The thing was, the alpha couldn't even recall what he had done. He sighed and nodded as a response to the other male, glancing at his briefly in confusion as he left the workbench. Usually, lab partners would do things together, or so Hoseok thought. He scribbled his final recordings and rushed out a conclusion to the experiment's findings before moving to the front as well. Caution suggested he sit away from his lab partner, and so he did, close enough to see what he was doing but far enough to not disturb the other.
@jung hoseok A soft hum left Taemins lips as a confirmation to the alphas question. If he heard it or not was something the omega wasn't worried about as he continued to write answers down. His eyes would flick towards the clock and back to his work every few seconds as if his constant glances would make the time go by quicker. Hearing the other speak again had Taemin turning to him with a bored expression. He glanced to the cylinder and nodded his head once before writing down the change in the liquid. "When you're done taking note of that carefully dispose of it and find me." After he finished talking, the omega gathered his textbook and moved to the front of the class to work on the textbook assignment to the lab. He left the supplies still in their area since they'd have to return to conduct another experiment.
@lee taemin Hoseok nodded promptly and took the cylinder, placing it on the table before he slowly mixed it. One could never be too careful in a laboratory. He was amazed by how Taemin managed to organise everything so quickly despite having just read the instructions. "I guess you must be really good at science, huh?" he commented, trying to break the ice. Glancing over at the other side of the bench, he started to answer questions on the paper too. He couldn't leave his worksheet blank, it was a project and it would account for some substantial amount of his scores. Frankly speaking, he didn't really care but he was taught to do everything he could in his studies. He held up the cylinder as he was done. "Is this enough?" he asked the other male, smiling proudly.
@jung hoseok Taemin hummed to the other thanking him for gathering the supplies. A small nod of the wolfs head was given to the others introduction. "Taemin.." The omega finished reading the instructions and went to put on his gloves and goggles. He felt slightly bad for not communicating with the male but he couldn't be bothered to. He didn't even want to be in school but he knew he had to. All he wanted to do was go home and rest the remainder of the day but he stayed. After undoing the top on a chemical he passed it to Hoseok along with a cylinder filled with another type. "Mix this.." He then went on to answer a few questions he knew on the worksheet.
